“First time to this Burger King, and first time to a Burger King in years. Even during construction, this place did a great job. The food actually looks like the picture and tasted wonderful. The service was friendly and fast. Will definitely come back to here for a late night stop when I’m Driving through.“

“I was recently in this establishment and ordered a sweet iced tea. I did notice that they were quite busy so I did expect a little bit of a delay. The staff was extremely understanding about everything and they were trying to help as many customers as they could seeming how all of the staff had just clocked in and the previous shift had not given them any information about what was happening or the orders that were already in process. That poor manager on that shift was just being hounded by customers that were being extremely rude because they had a longer wait time for their food, when it was indeed the first shift that never told her anything. I even heard her explain to a customer that she was extremely sorry and was trying to her best but she had just clocked in and nobody had given her any information about what was happening at that moment. It did take quite a while to get just a single iced tea, but this is to be expected when there are at least 10 plus people in line seemingly five staff members and customers that are extremely rude and disrespectful. Overall the second shift team of this McDonald's seems like they were trying their hardest to figure everything out when first shift had never given them any notice of what was happening.“

“I'm not from MI, but I'm staying for a week and was looking for vegan places to eat. I stumbled upon Veg-N and gave it a try. There is no dine-in so do keep that in mind. I just placed our order on their website, and within 15m it was ready! Pulled up to the drive-thru and was met with lovely customer service. We were offered on the house cookies and oh my they were amazing. Got home and unpacked the food to find little peppermints and handwipes in the bag!! I finished my Reuben in 5 minutes it was so good, the patty was soft and juicy and the kraut was perfect. The chili fries were great too - maybe a little sweet for me, but my friend said they were just right for her. Only thing I could ask for would be glaze on the cinnamon roll but I didn't expect any. Just wishful thinking. Overall, great place. The people seem lovely, the food came out fast, and it tasted amazing. I'm only here for a few more days but I will definitely be back, it was just that good. If you like burgers, fries, cookies, or cinnamon rolls you need to check this place out - vegan or not you will love it.“

“We did the holiday meal for Christmas Eve. This was our first time getting Capital City BBQ and the owner was great to work with and the food was delicious. We thought it was an amazing deal and everyone enjoyed dinner. What an amazing way to spend Christmas Eve, relaxed and not cooking all day. thank you!“

“This place was close to an event we attended. Checked out the menu before hand and once I saw they had pickle fries, cheese curds AND unique sliders…. I knew I had to try it out!!! It did not disappoint!! One of the BEST restaurants I’ve ever been to!! All food items were on point and so so delicious!!! We will definitely be coming back soon!!! Prices were less than I expected for the quality, portion sizes and deliciousness!!!! Our waitress was amazing also!! Super friendly and knew the menu very well and gave recommendations!! My husband and I were both in a funky mood when we got there due to a little spat on the way, but the whole energy of the night changed when Tara came to our table. She was so funny and quick witted and had us both laughing and out of our bad moods withing the first 3 minutes! The food was great, but Tara was fabulous! “Get the Olive Burger! It’s a local Lansing-area creation and absolutely worth trying. The Peanut Barrel is a great old-school East Lansing spot with a fun, casual atmosphere. The burger was fantastic — definitely something I’ll get again when I’m back in town visiting MSU. Amazing!!!“

“Not fancy. Located on the River with a wonderful view. The service was friendly, attentive, and engaging. Ordered dinner items, but breakfast was available as well at 5:00 PM. The fish and chips were cooked perfectly. Light crisp batter on the fish and the fish was cooked just right. I've had fish and chips at a number of restaurants, but none are better than this. Very reasonable price with large portions. The fries were also excellent. We also ordered the Patty Melt and it was just right. Great rye bread, the beef patty was yummy, the cheese was delicious, and the onions were cooked spot on. Often the onions are the weak link in this sandwich. Not here. Had fries with this and they were great. Couldn't eat everything and brought home fish and fries. Another table ordered omelets and they looked fantastic. I will have to try that next time. Definitely 5 stars.“

“2026 stopped in for breakfast on an August Saturday. Got the #1 which is 2 eggs, hash browns, bacon and toast. Everything was done well. I especially liked that the bacon was NOT overcooked, dry and brittle as glass like a lot of places do. This bacon was tender, moist and had some chew.“
