It was my partners and i first time as adults and got incredibly good cocktails priced decently for their strongness and over all flavor (shortly temple- little strong, dirty expresso -perfect mix, tropical blue rum- can be on the strong side). The food was mind blowing and was perfectly seasoned accrost the bord with every bite of the lobster mac made me want one more bite even though I was full and had fantastic/friendly staff + wait time

“Great food, great service. Was missing an item, and they replaced it with a larger size no charge. Only thing I dislike is the wait time. Nothing at all against staff in any way. They are always fantastic. but the location is usually popular, leading to longer wait for food.“

“I'm not from MI, but I'm staying for a week and was looking for vegan places to eat. I stumbled upon Veg-N and gave it a try. There is no dine-in so do keep that in mind. I just placed our order on their website, and within 15m it was ready! Pulled up to the drive-thru and was met with lovely customer service. We were offered on the house cookies and oh my they were amazing. Got home and unpacked the food to find little peppermints and handwipes in the bag!! I finished my Reuben in 5 minutes it was so good, the patty was soft and juicy and the kraut was perfect. The chili fries were great too - maybe a little sweet for me, but my friend said they were just right for her. Only thing I could ask for would be glaze on the cinnamon roll but I didn't expect any. Just wishful thinking. Overall, great place. The people seem lovely, the food came out fast, and it tasted amazing. I'm only here for a few more days but I will definitely be back, it was just that good. If you like burgers, fries, cookies, or cinnamon rolls you need to check this place out - vegan or not you will love it.“

“This place was close to an event we attended. Checked out the menu before hand and once I saw they had pickle fries, cheese curds AND unique sliders…. I knew I had to try it out!!! It did not disappoint!! One of the BEST restaurants I’ve ever been to!! All food items were on point and so so delicious!!! We will definitely be coming back soon!!! Prices were less than I expected for the quality, portion sizes and deliciousness!!!! Our waitress was amazing also!! Super friendly and knew the menu very well and gave recommendations!! “Ate outside, beautiful night. Jameson Highballs $6 good pour. $8.25 for a bare 1/4lb hot dog with onions, bun out of the bag. Condiments on the table. $3 fries were hot, larger cut. Not bad for downtown East Lansing. Had to pay for parking.“

“I had the best meal at Buddies today! We were dining with 9 people and our server was on top of everything! Never forgot a single request, was quick with clearing our table, bringing more drinks and remembering extras. I got a chicken taco salad and said “this is the best taco salad I have ever eaten” maybe I was starving - or maybe it really was the best taco salad I have ever eaten - you be the judge! They also have a kid/senior menu (how smart to offer this to seniors too) and all the meals come with vanilla ice cream - but get this, you can upgrade it to moose tracks for a dollar - I AM OUTTTT.

“Thank you to the employees for their grace and kindness in the midst of their disgruntled customer in the drive thru. A very unhappy customer was parked at the pick up window and not leaving. Recognizing the need for plan B, a young man walked to each waiting car, apologizing profusely, and asked us all to please go into the store until the situation was resolved. He then met me in the store and frantically had our meal prepared. All the while, he worked to complete orders and never raised his voice or bad-mouthed the situation. Impressed with how he handled himself and kept on forging ahead while the manager was on the phone calling for help!“

“Our first time here today. There was a bit of a wait, as to be expected during their first week being open. I took that wait time as an opportunity to ask the staff about their allergy menu. My son (2 yrs old) has egg and peanut allergies so we have to be careful. The staff acknowledged my concerns and immediately got the manager up front so we could discuss safe options for my son. He answered every question then even after we we were seated he reassured us of the safe menu options. our server *Michelle* also went out of her way to make sure the cook staff was aware of our sons allergies and checked up on us multiple times. The food was AMAZING, the staff was awesome. We will definitely be back. We've been to multiple establishments and have been disappointed because the lack of consideration for a toddler with food allergies. It's overwhelming and scary for parents to carry that burden. When staff goes out of their way to make sure your child is safe... that's a whole other level of awesome. I hope you all are very successful with this new business“

“We are never disappointed with A&W! When I'm really craving a good quality, fast-food burger this is it! The burgers have that mouth-watering grilled flavor, and a double is so big sometimes I can't even finish it. Everything is always made fresh, so I expect to wait a few extra minutes in the drive thru but I know it's worth it. The onion rings are crispy and the fries are hot. Sometimes just a good 'ol coney dog with onions hits the spot. A&W is one of the only places I can think of to get a good hotdog in the drive thru. The other night I got double burgers, fries and onion rings for 5 people and it was $60. Just remember, you get what you pay for! A&W is worth a few extra bucks!“
