“I had the best meal at Buddies today! We were dining with 9 people and our server was on top of everything! Never forgot a single request, was quick with clearing our table, bringing more drinks and remembering extras. I got a chicken taco salad and said “this is the best taco salad I have ever eaten” maybe I was starving - or maybe it really was the best taco salad I have ever eaten - you be the judge! They also have a kid/senior menu (how smart to offer this to seniors too) and all the meals come with vanilla ice cream - but get this, you can upgrade it to moose tracks for a dollar - I AM OUTTTT.

Based on today’s experience, I can’t wait to go back!“

“I've been to this restaurant almost a dozen times in the past year, and it's now my favorite in the grater Lansing area. Most everything I've tried has been delicious with standouts being the Wonton Soup and Egg Domburi Rice. While nothing will punch you in the mouth with flavor, it somehow manages to taste incredible in a subtle and balanced way. The service has always been great, but you may need to wait 20min or so for food if they're busy, which is to be expected for fresh cooking from a mom and pop joint. Can't recommend this place enough.“

“Came in tonight to celebrate my birthday with my husband. I always get the tonkatsu ramen (delicious). Tonight I tried the orange chicken for the first time. I'm so glad I did! It was perfectly sauced and still crispy. Service was fast and friendly despite being absolutely packed💗“

“I’m from NC. I came back to Michigan as this is where most of my family live. We had a memorial service at my Sisters house on June 20th for my husband who passed away. We ordered 12 Detroit style pizzas, salads, Garlic knots and cheesy bread sticks The food was fantastic We served over 45 people and everyone raved about the food. Klavons made it so easy. Then my Brother in law and Sister took me there for dinner before I headed back to NC. The waitress was fantastic, the food was amazing. My only regret was we don’t have a Klavons in NC. Thank you all for your fantastic food and service“

“I'm not from MI, but I'm staying for a week and was looking for vegan places to eat. I stumbled upon Veg-N and gave it a try. There is no dine-in so do keep that in mind. I just placed our order on their website, and within 15m it was ready! Pulled up to the drive-thru and was met with lovely customer service. We were offered on the house cookies and oh my they were amazing. Got home and unpacked the food to find little peppermints and handwipes in the bag!! I finished my Reuben in 5 minutes it was so good, the patty was soft and juicy and the kraut was perfect. The chili fries were great too - maybe a little sweet for me, but my friend said they were just right for her. Only thing I could ask for would be glaze on the cinnamon roll but I didn't expect any. Just wishful thinking. Overall, great place. The people seem lovely, the food came out fast, and it tasted amazing. I'm only here for a few more days but I will definitely be back, it was just that good. If you like burgers, fries, cookies, or cinnamon rolls you need to check this place out - vegan or not you will love it.“

I honestly just love their food and it never leaves me feeling cruddy. I have digestive issues sometimes from restaurant food and I always feel great after eating here. There is plenty of parking and plenty of seating inside. They have yummy desserts as well. Now they have an amazing Lunch Buffet for around $15.00 and it’s a great way to try things you may be hesitant to try. It also includes salad choices, soup, hummus and their garlic sauce with pita!!! Our server was amazing but I wasn't too fond of the manager walking around yelling at all his employees who were busting their butts trying to provide the best service to the customers. I've worked in restaurants for about 10 years now and I know things can get frustrating during dinner rushes. But being the owner of the restaurant and treating your employees so poorly while you have customers trying to eat isn't ideal. I watched this guy yell at all his cooks and servers. Also was rude to a server about a chair when they didn't know said chair wasn't allowed in the outside seating area. I really hope this manager takes the extra steps to pull people aside and be discreet when addressing something instead of causing a scene like we saw tonight. Other then that, we enjoyed this restaurant and the food!“

“I ordered the Prime Rib which I have missed out on for about 3 weeks. It was just that it was all gone by 6:30. So this time I went around 5. I am writing this be because you had the audacity to serve me a salad with lettuce!!! The waitress asked which type of dressing but I told I didn't want the salad. Hmm I guess she didn't hear me. Plus the baked potatoe was okay but way over cooked and the prime rib was medium rare and i asked for medium!!! I guess the new owners are doing things there way!!“

It was my partners and i first time as adults and got incredibly good cocktails priced decently for their strongness and over all flavor (shortly temple- little strong, dirty expresso -perfect mix, tropical blue rum- can be on the strong side). The food was mind blowing and was perfectly seasoned accrost the bord with every bite of the lobster mac made me want one more bite even though I was full and had fantastic/friendly staff + wait time

Multiple times I have ordered or placed large orders to be shared with family, volunteers and the Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan - ALL the food has been delicious. The muffins moist (I know how some love that word! haha). The staff has always been very friendly, including accommodating some special requests needed for my specific deliveries. “First time based on all the good reviews. Be careful of good reviews. I had the sesame chicken, lo mein... Excellent. The hot and sour soup was not the best, and was like straight salt and vinegar and I could hardly eat it. Didn't care for the egg rolls and I wasn't able to identify the filling, it was overcooked and was hard to bite into. For good hot and sour soup and egg rolls go to Asian buffet. The fried rice was average. I was hoping to find a new Chinese takeout for all my interests on one stop...Sorry to say I did not find it here. However, I would go back for the sesame chicken and Io mein and perhaps to try some of the other main dishes.“
