Since the first time I tried their tacos, I’ve been hooked and keep coming back. The shells are perfectly crispy, the meat is always seasoned just right, and honestly, no other place compares. You can tell everything is made with care and fresh ingredients.

This review is way overdue. The menu is small, but everything on it is high quality and done really well. I don’t even mind the 45 minute drive for these tacos—they really are bad ass! The service is excellent, everyone is friendly and welcoming, and they always make you feel like a regular.

I always look forward to the weekends just so I can drive over for their tacos and ramen. The ramen is comforting and flavorful, and the tacos are consistently amazing every single time. This business deserves 20 stars—it is my number one taco place! If you’re thinking about trying this place, do it—you’ll be hooked too.“

“My granddaughter and I went here for dinner before attending the Candle Light Hip Hop Concert. We enjoyed the Chorizo Mandu dumplings (really loved the dipping sauce) and 10 K-Town wings with the Sweet Gochuchang glaze as our appetizers. Both delicious. We both ordered the Milk Bread Birria Grilled Cheese which is my personal favorite. The Birria dipping sauce is quite tasty. Keep vowing to order something different but it’s so good! We both had to take half of our sandwiches home because we were so full. Our server was very nice and attentive, the staff here always are. We got here just shortly after they opened so there were only a few other people inside, and it was also the super cold below freezing Friday night. But we enjoyed every bit of it.“

I just had one of the best experiences at this grill, and the Taco de Camarón (Shrimp Taco) I ordered was absolutely divine!
First, let me praise the amazing service. It was freezing out, and the wonderful woman working there insisted that we stay warm in our car and offered to bring our order right out to us. That level of kindness and thoughtfulness is so rare and truly appreciated!
Now, for the food: The shrimp taco was honestly perfection. It was prepared beautifully—the toppings were so fresh: the shrimp, creamy avocado, and cool cucumber were incredibly vibrant. I especially loved the great crunch, and the hit of fresh lime brought the entire dish together flawlessly. Every bite was an absolute delight.
If you're looking for delicious, authentic food served by truly kind people, you have to stop by. I highly recommend trying one of their Tacos de Camarón! I will definitely be back to try more options.“

“I do not give five out of five stars lightly. Authentic street tacos are my favorite food.Over the past four months this has become my go to spot on Mondays for lunch tacos. The Al Pastor tacos are simply amazing. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is really cool. Not cool like hipster cool but no frills. I’m here for the food not an art show. I have tried every taco they make, and every single one has been simply delicious. I have had dry tacos and other places where you had to add sauce because they were so bad. Here, the sauce enhances the taco, but is not necessary. I have also tried other menu items here. Notably the Menudo is delicious. It’s interesting because they do not put harmony in it. I’ve had it in other places, but this is definitely in the top three Menudo spots that I’ve had. The prices are reasonable as well. I love this place.“

If you're expecting traditional Guatemalan food, there are a few staples like tamales on the menu, but the real star here is the fried chicken. The chicken was cooked fresh and was absolute crispy and delicious perfection. The side dishes range from french fries, to salads, to black beans, all of which are enjoyable. While I waited for my meal, the restaurant also provided a cup of flavorful chicken noodle soup, that puts the typical bland versions of the dish to complete shame.Worth noting that the restaurant has it's own parking lot and the dining room, while small, had several four-top tables for seating.“

“This is by far, the best place to have goat birria tatemada estilo Jalisco!!!! The place is no longer called Centro botanero, it's called El Gordo's Birria. It only opens Saturday and Sunday and it's always packed!!! I know birria is a trending dish nowadays but everybody makes it with beef which is fine but I love the flavor of the goat birria!!! The dish is served with handmade tortillas and a special homemade made hot sauce that only enhances the flavor of the birria!!! I'm salivating just by telling you all!!! Delicious!!! Gordo's menudo is also a great choice. You have got to go!!!“
