Since the first time I tried their tacos, I’ve been hooked and keep coming back. The shells are perfectly crispy, the meat is always seasoned just right, and honestly, no other place compares. You can tell everything is made with care and fresh ingredients.

This review is way overdue. The menu is small, but everything on it is high quality and done really well. I don’t even mind the 45 minute drive for these tacos—they really are bad ass! The service is excellent, everyone is friendly and welcoming, and they always make you feel like a regular.

I always look forward to the weekends just so I can drive over for their tacos and ramen. The ramen is comforting and flavorful, and the tacos are consistently amazing every single time. This business deserves 20 stars—it is my number one taco place! If you’re thinking about trying this place, do it—you’ll be hooked too.“

“Went to Guac Mexi Grill and honestly yaar the staff there are too good. So calm, so polite, talking in such a soft way. I was asking so many things and they explained everything nicely without getting irritated even a little. These kind of people are rare now. I forgot to see their names but they were wearing name tags for sure.

“Blown away by how good this was. Was craving Mexican food for a good while and never really noticed Taqueria Alma was in my city. Ordered a Wet Burrito Dinner which came out to be $12.71. Fantastic service and food.

The whole meal was fresh and piping hot, the chicken was delicious, and it was an extremely affordable meal. Before I received my order, a customer inside let the cashier know that it was the best tacos he'd eaten and I'm glad I took his word for it- it seriously was that good. This meal came with lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, beans and rice on the sides.

If you're ever in the mood for an affordable meal or you're in the area and wanting something delicious to eat, Taqueria Alma is there for you.“

“While I love the flavor of their food, the only time we've had an order 100% correct was the first time we ordered. Every time we order since then there's something missing, fries overcooked and hard, messed up items, and things added to what we've ordered when we've requested it to be removed. Thankfully I simply don't like tomatoes and onions and am not allergic to them, cuz they ALWAYS forget to remove the pico when my receipt even says "no pico de gallo". Their queso blanco and their Sabor sauce are probably the two best things about them, at least when they remember to include it even if you pay for extra. For how pricey they are I would expect to have my order correct all the time. I'll be going down to the taco trucks in Southwest Detroit from now on cuz they always get the order right, they're delicious, AND they're inexpensive.“

“I can honestly say I wasn't expecting much. Its a burger from a gas station. But let me tell you, it was almost a religious experience. I took the first bite of the simple smash burger and I didnt process what it was I was eat. The second bite, I had to set the burger down to appreciate what was going on. The bread was warm the meat was salty and spicy and hit the umami sweet spot. The smash burger had the crunchy edges but still had that firm meat bite. It was easily the best burger ive had in the last 15 years.“

“It was all love. Fresh mex came to Amazon Det6 for night lunch for the employees and the time I come for work is when the food court ⅖usually closes. I went to the lunchroom hoping the food didn't close. When I arrived fresh mex was just packing up. Chef looked at me from afar and gave me nod and asked if I was hungry. Boy, you should seen my eyes light up when me asked that question. I ran as fast as I could to the counter. I got the yellow rice bowl/chicken with the toppings of cheese and salsa. “My favorite del taco in the area! First off the workers are absolutely amazing! They are so kind and hardworking and always strive to get your order as hot and fresh as possible with a smile 😀 another thing I love about del taco that beats the other taco place is that their toppings are fresh toppings and not from a bag! And it's not just tacos it's burgers and chicken as well. Also one of my favorite things is you can get all types of food 24 hours a day. I'm a morning person and I love that I can get something besides breakfast stuff here at del taco, I can get regular lunch/dinner food all day long! It's just awesome they provide those options and it still tastes fresh!“
