In all honesty, Detroit lacks a good after work hangout scene, so I love that the XO Room opened up with a variety of events to accommodate any mood during the work week. Its located right downtown, with plenty of parking nearby on a Wednesday. I have been a couple of times now, and I love that I am always greeted by an extremely welcoming staff that really work to make sure I have a delightful experience. parking nearby on a Wednesday. I have been a couple of times now, and I love that I am always greeted by an extremely welcoming staff that really work to make sure I have a delightful experience. I highly recommend the lobster mac and cheese... a dish that seems to be vary rare in the area, yet delicious here! The craft cocktails have all been yummy and the bar always has good recommendations when you don't know what to choose! Will be back
