“The drive thru wait was long and I was getting frustrated. I personally think 16 minutes is a long time for a drive thru. I even called to make sure everything was good. I know I sound like a Karen. When I got to the window the gentleman was so nice, very polite, professional and apologetic. He also had a nice smile and was friendly. His energy was so positive he made me forget all about the wait time. I am usually not impatient but I was hungry😂and I'm a big girl! When I got home the food was HOT and DELICIOUS. Honestly, I very rarely eat taco bell because the servings are usually poor and just not good. The servings were on point! Everything was excellent!This was by far the BEST taco bell I have ever been to. Now I feel stupid for getting frustrated with the wait. It was well worth it. Customer service was on point! I should have asked his name because his boss needs to know that he has excellent customer service.“

“I wanted my family and I to try a new & special place to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and this place was amazing. Beautifully plated, ultra-delicious, special flare, authentic food. Kind & friendly staff. Cool atmosphere, family friendly. Easy parking. Proud that this place represents our Mexican heritage. No gimmicks, everything about this place made me feel like I actually was in a modern day restaurant in Mexico.“

Since the first time I tried their tacos, I’ve been hooked and keep coming back. The shells are perfectly crispy, the meat is always seasoned just right, and honestly, no other place compares. You can tell everything is made with care and fresh ingredients.
This review is way overdue. The menu is small, but everything on it is high quality and done really well. I don’t even mind the 45 minute drive for these tacos—they really are bad ass! The service is excellent, everyone is friendly and welcoming, and they always make you feel like a regular.
I always look forward to the weekends just so I can drive over for their tacos and ramen. The ramen is comforting and flavorful, and the tacos are consistently amazing every single time. This business deserves 20 stars—it is my number one taco place! If you’re thinking about trying this place, do it—you’ll be hooked too.“

“Great new add to the downtown Detroit restaurant offerings! Korean/Mexican fusion. Bone-in short rib burrito and birria grilled cheese were both off the charts. Also excellent service. Chef stopped by our table and gave us the full story about the restaurant. Highly recommended!“

“This family owned taqueria delivers truly authentic Mexican flavors that you can taste in every bite. The people are warm and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I ordered the huarache and it was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food here. A wonderful spot that I would happily visit again.“

“While I love the flavor of their food, the only time we've had an order 100% correct was the first time we ordered. Every time we order since then there's something missing, fries overcooked and hard, messed up items, and things added to what we've ordered when we've requested it to be removed. Thankfully I simply don't like tomatoes and onions and am not allergic to them, cuz they ALWAYS forget to remove the pico when my receipt even says "no pico de gallo". Their queso blanco and their Sabor sauce are probably the two best things about them, at least when they remember to include it even if you pay for extra. For how pricey they are I would expect to have my order correct all the time. I'll be going down to the taco trucks in Southwest Detroit from now on cuz they always get the order right, they're delicious, AND they're inexpensive.“

“I can honestly say I wasn't expecting much. Its a burger from a gas station. But let me tell you, it was almost a religious experience. I took the first bite of the simple smash burger and I didnt process what it was I was eat. The second bite, I had to set the burger down to appreciate what was going on. The bread was warm the meat was salty and spicy and hit the umami sweet spot. The smash burger had the crunchy edges but still had that firm meat bite. It was easily the best burger ive had in the last 15 years.“

“Their taco salads are amazing! My granddaughter loves their birria. I also recommend their chips and queso. Their mild salsa could use a little more flavor but it's good. And if you want dessert their tres leche cake is really good but also check out their brownies. Sooo good!“

“I had not been in here for awhile, but stopped in today just before the 1 pm Tigers game.
They were fairly busy for lunch, and the place was clean, service was great, and easy to get in and out
I was out the door in about 8 minutes with a nice plated portion of Chicken Fries.
Prices are really decent (especially for downtown) and the portions and quality
really make it a good lunchtime option.
They also have a nice salsa bar with various salsa and pickled jalapenos. Check em out.👍“

“I love it here so much. Every Tuesday me and my stepmom come for their special “taco Tuesday” she orders the tacos but I ALWAYS go with the chicken soup. It’s so rich in flavor and it’s amazing. It has so many things in it; broth, avocados, rice, chicken, etc. it’s amazing.“

“The service and food were amazing. The amount of food you get for the price feels like we’ve went back in time. You don’t feel like you’re being ripped off & the owner (I think he was the owner) graciously gave me more sauce since my husband forgot to ask for it on when he was ordering. “I'm not sure what the other reviews are talking about. The customer service was amazing. Food came out quick as well. Maybe they just have a hard time when it's busy, which is understandable. And they try their best to keep things neat and clean.Also, I'll update this if I end up vomiting in the middle of the night like one of the other reviews said, lol.

“The food was delicious, service was great. I usually get Chipotle but I’m going to start coming here for multiple reasons.
Chipotle isn’t rude, but never friendly if that makes sense. The 2 women working here were so pleasant. Secondly I found out they have cilantro and cotija cheese which is more authentic! Lastly finding out that queso and guacamole are free on entrées really set the deal for me. They also have shrimp and pickled onions which is big for me! I mixed shrimp and chicken and it was delicious. I’m surprised this place wasn’t packed. You guys are sleeping on this place while chipotle charging for every little thing.“

“Went there for lunch today with my daughter unfortunately she had a stomach ache but. The waitress helped up pack up our food so I could get her home. Was a nice lady. I appreciate it. We ate the rest sometime after we got home and it was delicious. My daughter was feeling better and ate all the rest and loved it. Thank you for great service and great food!“
