“This place is awesome. The service is incredible. But the food was even better! The interior of it takes you back to a simpler time. Family owned and operated. The server was the sister of the cook. The coney dogs didn’t stand a chance. Fries were so crunchy and delicious. While there, the folks sitting to the left of me ordered breakfast. “Tonight I attended a wedding at C & G and could not be more impressed, and also pissed at myself for not patronizing this welcoming restaurant sooner. I’m lactose intolerant and allergic to chicken. The staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious. This is not often a feeling I receive when bringing up food allergies. The food & drinks were so incredibly tasty and the views were unreal. The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. Turn to the left and you have the beautifully landscaped Roosevelt park to stroll through after enjoying the back porch. I’m so blown away, and so happy my friend finally got me here! Thank you for a dreamy night.“

The Alabama white pulled chicken, pulled pork, pretzels, smoked meats charcuterie board, fresh fruit, double smoked Kielbasa ( so darn delicious) and the Kale Cesar salad.. all finished off by our Family and guests. Everyone loved the beer selection, the food and the vibe at Batch!
We have always been supporters of Batch Brewery, now we feel like they are part of the Family.

“We came to The Whitney for an early birthday dinner for my husband. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience there! The staff went above and beyond my expectations. The food was amazing and cost was much less than I would have expected for the caliber and presentation of our meals and dessert. For all of you paranormal afficionados, their Ghost Bar is a must. The owners of The Whitney have done so much to preserve this amazing estate in Detroit without any funding assistance from the government or grants. I had their Maple Shakerato and a brownie. The drink had the perfect level of sweetness once stirred, and the brownie was soft with rich chocolate chunks, really satisfying. The ambience was also great; the indoor seating area had a calm, cozy vibe. Most people were working or studying, so it wasn't too loud, perfect for relaxing or getting some work done.“
