I’ve been to dozens of Subway locations across the country, but the one in Edwardsburg, Michigan stands head and shoulders above the rest. Hands down, this is the best Subway I’ve ever been to—and it’s not even close.
From the moment you walk in, the difference is obvious. The restaurant is exceptionally clean—spotless counters, shining floors, and a fresh, inviting atmosphere that makes you actually want to sit and enjoy your meal. You can tell they take real pride in maintaining the place.
The food quality matches the cleanliness. Every single time I’ve visited, the ingredients are incredibly fresh—crisp vegetables, flavorful breads, and meats that actually taste like they were prepared that day. The sandwiches are made with care, and the portions are generous without feeling skimpy.
But what really sets this location apart is the staff. They are, without exaggeration, the most courteous and accommodating team I’ve ever encountered at any fast-food restaurant. “I was driving in from out of state and since my husband has reminisced about Kmart subs for YEARS, I thought I would stop by Scoobies to pick some up to bring home to him. Unfortunately I was only in town for the weekend, and even though they are closed on Saturdays, the owner so graciously offered to COME IN and make subs for me!! I couldn't believe it! Incredible customer service and my husband said the Kmart subs were DELICIOUS and SPOT ON. Thank you for going the extra mile to help me bring back a memory for him. WE APPRECIATE YOU!!“

“We stopped by Firehouse Subs recently and wanted I had to leave a review mainly because of Lily It’s rare these days to come across someone so genuine and professional in customer service. She was patient, friendly, and made sure everything was correct without making anyone feel rushed, even while staying busy! 🤩

“I have had good luck with this Jimmy John’s. Not every order has been perfect but nothing that has made me regret ordering. Today the delivery driver went above and beyond. I spilled my drink just inside my doorway and she stayed to help me clean it up. I’m a paraplegic so cleaning liquids on the floor can be a little tough for me. She even drove back and got me another drink after we cleaned up the one I spilled. I didn’t get her name but she definitely went above and beyond when she didn’t have to do any of it. I appreciate her help and kindness. She’s definitely a keeper.“

“I have been coming here since I was in high school and you can call it nostalgia if you want, but in my opinion this is the best subway around. Not only is the staff incredibly friendly but even after not returning for nearly 5 years (just wasn't ever in this area due to moving) the owners still remembered me BY NAME. Name another establishment that values their customers that much. Always has been one of my favorite places near Penn High School and probably always will be. The food is exceptional and the service is outstanding every time!“

“Wonderful worker there tonight on 2/5/23 around 5pm. She was absolutely sweet. I have a big family and order 7 subs. Normally we get some kind of grunt or attitude when saying how many subs. She was cheerful and said we would get through it together. She made everything perfect, with no attitude and a smile on her face. Didn't get her name but big kudos to her for being so pleasant.“

“The store is always so clean and organized. They have very friendly staff and I feel comfortable eating there. They are fast and efficient as well, always making sure no one stays in line very long, bringing additional team members to help when needed.

“We came in around 7 o’clock and Thomas helped us, he listened when I said EXTRA pickles. Usually people only put a little extra but I really wanted a ridiculous amount of pickles and Thomas did not disappoint. I’m never going to another subway“

“Best Jimmy John’s I’ve been to in the area. Fast, nice workers and get the order always right. I like to modify my sandwiches to my own preference and sometimes I push my creativity to the max, just to see if I they can keep up. I am not disappointed. THE fastest JJ I’ve been in.“

“They did a great job on making our sub sandwiches. It was fast and tasted great.
The new Jimmy Kickin ranch chips great flavor little spicy but not too much. I think if you ate several in a row without having a bite of Sandwich between, they'd get a little more spicy. A similar flavor to say hot wing sauce and Ranch mixed. I would get them again.

Manager came by and gave me a refund for the salad and I was on my way.
