“I had the beast burger deluxe on a homemade bun. Best burger I've ever had. It was cooked to perfection (medium). John was our congenial server. The atmosphere is homey, very comfortable! I cannot believe I've driven by this hidden gem for years! 1st time here and I will definitely return!!“

“We met friends for dinner and were very pleased with the food and drink. We had our own dining area next to a big window and it was great. It took quite a while to get our food and drink but we loved being able to hear each other and enjoy being together in an intimate setting. I will say we were informed that our table was reserved for another party 20 minute before their time slot. It ended up they had been seated in a different area. It kind of spoiled our ambiance but we would go there again. We shared several appetizers and dessert. Drinks were great. Entrees were superb.

“Good first time visit. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was really nice inside and had more of a restaurant vibe instead of a Bar so that was really nice. French Dip had a really good flavor and the BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger was cooked perfectly and was still juicy even though i said well done. The bun on the bugets and french dip held together nicely. Ribs where really flavorful and tender pulled the rib meet off with a fork. Pretzel bites and the deep fried cheese chunks where surprisingly good as where the nachos. Only complaint is the chicken we got was very dry and salad had only lettuce in it but besides it was a really nice first visit. Almost forgot get the homemade chips over the fries they are really tasty.“

“5 stars is nowhere near enough. Went with my husband to try the place and was greeted as soon as we walked in. Our waitress came by as soon as we sat down. My husband got the Down South Skillet and I got the full breakfast. Both were amazing. The owner was the sweetest as well. Will 100% be back.“

“Hands down, my favorite restaurant ever. You just can't go wrong with a Big Boy, with tarter sauce on it, and a side of crispy fries. I have ordered the same thing every time since I was a kid. If I see a Big Boy while out doing things, I make it a point to stop in for a bite. They never disappoint. The service is always fast and friendly, and the prices are right!

We would be close by in Detroit, and being vintage car enthusiasts, knew we had to take a side trip to Monroe! When we arrived the staff made sure we were seated in a car booth. “A sweet waitress went way above and beyond her duty, My husband, I and our two friends went in to Waters Edge Restaurant, my husband and our friends ordered, I ask if they had milk shakes because I told her I’m having problems swallowing food down, the food won’t go down. She said so sorry we don’t have milk shakes so I just ordered a root beer to drink while everyone ate (it’s ok though) our sweet waitress whipped up milk with ice whip cream and made me a milk shake with whipped cream and chocolate sauce on top. Brought me a big cup. I said oh wow! I love you thank you!! She said it complementary.
