“We first went to imperial in 2024 on our first visit to Detroit. As soon As we landed, we drove straight here for a meal that we knew would satisfy. The service is always fast and friendly ( ask your server for recommendations for food, drinks, activities they won’t steer you wrong). We opted for the taco of the week ( vegan chorizo and creamy), imperial Sonoran and tostada, as well as the nachos. We were all stuffed and happy. Shout out to Pricilla“

“Nixie and Matt were a joy! We came in and Nixie was great, she let us move seats away from the door and was very attentive. The bad habit and chicken bacon ranch were our favorites. Matt suggested we try the bad habit with brisket and it was sooo good! 10/10“

“Super cute inside. I went for lunch. It was during the lunch rush around 12pm. The staff was extremely friendly. There was a line, but they moved rather quickly. I was satisfied with my food. I ordered a taco salad. I added chicken and guacamole. It was 18.00 with a fountain drink. The food was good and it was a pretty big serving. Their salsa is really good. It tastes like it has a lot of lime juice in it. Its brand new. Definitely recommend to stop in and check this place out!“

“While I love the flavor of their food, the only time we've had an order 100% correct was the first time we ordered. Every time we order since then there's something missing, fries overcooked and hard, messed up items, and things added to what we've ordered when we've requested it to be removed. Thankfully I simply don't like tomatoes and onions and am not allergic to them, cuz they ALWAYS forget to remove the pico when my receipt even says "no pico de gallo". Their queso blanco and their Sabor sauce are probably the two best things about them, at least when they remember to include it even if you pay for extra. For how pricey they are I would expect to have my order correct all the time. I'll be going down to the taco trucks in Southwest Detroit from now on cuz they always get the order right, they're delicious, AND they're inexpensive.“

“A group of about 10 of us stopped in on a Monday for happy hour - there was a nice crowd, music was playing, sparsely decorated. They have a great patio right on Woodward which is why we came, but it ended up raining. Although only one bartender was working, cocktails came out fast and tasted fresh and good. They have an interesting n/a mocktail made with homemade cordial and soda - I didn't try it this time, but it's good to know they have an option other than soda and lime. The aperol spritz looked good as did the spicy margarita. A good place to catch a quick drink.

They have an interesting food menu - sushi during the day and late night, and bbq for dinner. Maybe a little odd, but I remember when this place was Oslo and had the best sushi, so maybe it makes sense? I'll have to come back to try the food. Everyone working has also been really friendly, so I'd come back. An excellent location if you work downtown.“

“Hidden gem—almost impossible to see the name of this little restaurant, so it’s easy to miss! But what a fun surprise when you do find it. Great drinks—I tried the Hibiscus Margarita, my hubby had the classic. Very tasty! The food had great authentic flavor and was very reasonably priced for Birmingham. I had the shrimp taco and didn’t love how thick the soft shell was, but the flavor was delicious and the sauce with the shrimp was yummy. My hubby and daughter loved their dishes. He got a steak special and she got the Biria dish.
The coconut cake and churro cheese cake dessert were fabulous and worth the calories!
Service was great, friendly and helpful!

“I’m back and this taco truck was a gem of a find…we haven’t been to another truck since. Ya’ll, their tacos— carnitas, campechana, asada, chicharrones etc. DELICIOUS.

Recently ordered catering and it was a HIT with everyone. Got the beans, rice, carnitas, campechana (meat), chile (salsas), potatoes, pico.

“I had the beef brisket along with a side of baked beans and Mac and cheese. Loved the beans which were tangy and had some nice heat. Really liked the brisket moist & juicy. I thought the Mac and cheese was only good. The BBQ sauces where great to sample. I was divided between which one was beat. It was either the SC mustard or the apple with the vinigary NC a close third choice No room for desert. Solid craft draft beer deli toon. Service was very good (shout out to Christina)“
