“Regular customer here, the food is always great! In fact I just had a chef salad and it was the best I've had up to date. The only place I've found where the meat- veggie ratio was perfect. I had a bite of meat with almost every bite AND I didn't have to pay extra for extra meat. The service is always amazing and we're always excited to go back. I'd HIGHLY recommend Verna's!“

“Every single food item my group got we loved. I got pierogies, and Philly with truffle tots. First off whoever thought of truffle tots should win an award. The truffle, herbs, and cheese get in the crispy crevices which makes it so tasty! My friends got pretzels and burgers... all great! $4 craft drafts on Thurs with music bingo was nice! If I ever drive 45 minutes to Wyandotte again, I'll hit this place up.“

“Before we moved away in 1972 (when I was 10) This was my father's bar.... Where everybody KNEW HIS NAME.... and I often was with him and everybody knew MY NAME, and bought me Shirley Temples.... I played in the empty stage area on the other side of the bar area.... Has it changed in 60 years? Because I would love to see it if it has NOT.... but I looked up this place because of beloved memories, so I wanted to share. Thank you.“
“A lot of free surrounding convenient parking. This place reminds me of a smaller St. Andrews Hall. The security was on point. The prices weren't too crazy at the bar. I love that they give you ice water instead of purified water in a bottle. You can get pretty close up to the stage, and I loved that they had a handicap area to sit in as my sciatica was acting up. Will most definitely be back.“

“I choose to celebrate my birthday here. Food was great, drinks were cold, and my kids were able to have fun with us! Highly reccommend this place not only for festivities but as a nice get out the house!“
“Great place to drink. Though there is no food, Captains and other bars nearby have a good variety of food. The prices on drinks are quite reasonable, especially during happy hour.One thing to keep in mind is that there is not a lot of space and the restrooms are not too convenient.Overall, this place has great prices on drinks and may be a decent place to go to before heading to a nearby bar with food.“

I love the beautiful waterfront view here at the point where the Detroit River opens into Lake Erie. This club is connected to an island that is connected to an island that is connected to an island. “BEST FOOD Ever for Downriver's Best Brewery. Outstanding selection of Brews!! Ate there constantly since they opened in Nov 2019. Food is DEEEEELICIOUS! 3 Awesome Brewers/Owners, 5 Outstanding Waitresses, and 2 Superb Cooks. Their constant smiles are catchy for all to view!! Just a wonderful & comfortable place to visit and relax at. And you can play Domino’s there too! Always Enjoy.“

“Been coming here since I was 21 with a 10yeqr gap in my mid 20’s to mid 30’s. Even when they’re packed we have good service. TV’s everywhere so every seat has a good view of whatever game is on. And they have touch tones so you control the music when there isn’t a game. Pleasant and attentive staff. Great beer selection and it’s always fresh. Just wish there were a few more healthy food selections. Even so everything is tasty. Chili is definitely some of the best restaurant chili available and in the fall they have rotating soups.“

“TSA and Delta agents are always so kind. We’ve had some pretty negative experiences with TSA being rude, impatient, and condescending for no reason at various airports, but never at DTW! Thank you for making the stress of traveling less stressful!“
“We stopped by Gizzmos between a wedding and the reception at the hall down the street. And when I said ‘we’, I mean about 25 guests! The only bartender/ wait staff was incredible !! She kept up with the orders and we all had great drinks. Bravo Gizzmos!!“

“Came in tonight for a girls Christmas party. Our waitress did amazing with so many women coming in at different times. She was attentive and made sure our drinks never went dry. She had just came back from a leave and with a new system, and a system error, she never acted stressed. I’m so happy we had our party at @sneakys again this year.“
