“I was very satisfied this time and I wonder if the mediocre rating at this store is more a legacy of a prior team. I am a huge fan of the spicy chicken sandwich and I often argue with friends of its superiority to Chick-fil-A. This store gives me a solid basis for my claims. Chicken was tender and juicy and the pickles and spicy mayo were fresh and delicious. Gillian and the colleagues staffed the shop most deftly and all were courteous. My thanks! “I hate to be a karen But when you ask for Condiments And not Receive anything That shows you how bad customer service is. Spent forty five Dollars and asked 3 times for honey packs and when I got home , not 1 honey pack. I hate eating the biscuits dry !!!“

“VESTAVIA HILLS, AL LOCATION: I have been excited to tell yall about this place man (video review coming soon)! I got the chance to go to the grand opening of Dave's Hot Chicken and boy did it live up to the hype! Let's start off with first impressions. The building looks super cool from the outside to the inside. From the dope color skeems to the patterns and art work. Staff was amazing as well. Even though we were in a long line everything moved quickly. Staff was very helpful and whoever that lady manager is was doing her freaking job boy I loved her! Now let's get to some negative before we get to the positive. Something was absolutely wrong with that milkshake machine or the product. It was awful tasting and had a weird stringy like glue consistency. We don't know what it was but we quickly threw them away. We even saw other customers pouring their milkshakes out rinsing the cups and getting soda instead. Hopefully by now they have caught this and fixed the situation. Now the positive. The food itself I don't have anything to say but delicious! The chicken was good and everything went so well with each other. Like man the only thing to me that was just okay was the macaroni and cheese it was just cheese and noodles. It just needed a little salt and pepper and it would have been in there. “Food at this specific daves is immaculate . Trust me i am a daves explorer. I tried daves in southfield, troy, dearborn and from all these locations warren is the best every single time they give the fresh fries and food . Love it .

“Came in today and had the chicken tortilla soup medium and the medium tenders and fries. My kids had the same but instead of soup they got waffles. Everything was amazing and will gladly be back for more. The staff were super friendly and approachable and big ups to front cashier and waitress Mari. Her and the staff brought us this 10/10 experience!! Along with the great food and Store owner Billy!! 20/10“

“Best ribs that I've ever ate, and the chicken is absolutely delicious too..Most of the time I get a carryout, but once in a while we'll eat there, and that interior decor has needed a makeover for 15 years of better..With the amount of money that they bring in, Im a firm believer that they can afford a 5-10K for a new facelift on their restaurant ??

“Wow, really good fish and chips. Even in a take out container the fish is so crispy on the outside, hard to see in the pictures but the inside is nice and so flaky. The fries could use some salt, but they are yummy as well.

“Chicken was crispy and juicy. The pineapple drink is A MAZING, You have to try it. The peach mango pie is ? wonderful, do not leave without it. Adobo rice with gravy was so good. OH and the mac and cheese is DELICIOUS! Also the food didn't take long to come out! Definitely have to check them out!“

“David the manager is great, I made an order, but had to change it last minute, because I was having more people than I expected at my house for dinner. David changed my order with no issues and told me it would be about another 8 minute wait. I said "No problem" because I understand I made the change of order. While waiting I sat and listened to the crew talking and communicating orders and a little personal talk, the communication between employees was nice and not offensive, which I find rare waiting for orders at food places these days. My food was piping hot when I got it and I had a really good experience at this location. The workers are great and work very well as a team to make sure customers get there orders right and with quality.“

“This is my go-to place for fried fish and chicken. The fried green beans and fried corn on the cob are also delicious. I turned a couple of my friends on to this place as well, including a friend visiting from Georgia. She liked the food so much, she took pictures and posted them on social media. I LOVE their style of boneless wings — many places do them like mini chicken fingers (heavily breaded) but this place prepares them like bone-in wings — minimal, if any, breading. And they're BIG. At so many wing places I feel like I'm getting ripped off paying a dollar or more for a single bite... not here.Their menu overstates the spiciness of their sauces - do not be alarmed by the number of peppers shown beside their sauces. Their "hot" is a medium at most, even by Midwestern standards. I don't normally care for Old Bay, but I really enjoyed their Hot Old Bay.The only downsides are their fries and their dining area. After reading the bad reviews about their food and customer service; I was very hesitant to order at this restaurant.When I walked in to place my order; the woman behind the counter (Renée) greeted me with a smile and was so kind & patient with me (considering I was indecisive about what to order). I eventually ordered the chicken (legs & thighs), catfish & fried mushrooms. Everything I ordered tasted great and the kids & I was surprisingly satisfied. “Located inside a supermarket, this place is a little hidden gem for fried chicken! Service was great, we walked up and were handed a sample tender and potato wedge. Got 12 pc chicken family meal that was way better and cheaper than KFC or chicken shack. The gentleman serving us gave us generous portions and was very nice. Everything tasted so good! “I went in to get a pick up order that was ready but the two cashier were literally leaning on the counter watching the cook for about 10 minutes in a store that wasn’t crowded. The cashier then came over after chilling , ask how can I be help and handed me my order which could’ve been done when i initially came in and strode at the counter for 10 minutes right in front of her“

“The nuggets are not good. For this to be KFC, Wendy's and McDonalds nuggets are better. Just use the regular chicken breading and thigh and breast meat mixture. They are dry and not seasoned. I did get other food making up for this But...Open on time. Food was fast and fresh. Hot and made like I want. Clean inside. Didn't smell like bleach or cleaner. Just nothing but good food. Staff was courteous as well. The only real let down was the nuggets.“

“I came across this place about 8 years ago or so . We were looking for a chicken place. Our favorite things are an all dark meat bucket. The shrimp, chicken bites, onion rings etc. But my favorite is the Cole slaw ! I know most places make Cole slaw chopped larger I've always hated that. But chicken shack has it cut so small I just love it. Please don't change it !“
