“My favorite place to eat in Ortonville! The family that owns this restaurant is just wonderful. I can't count how many times we've eaten here, and every part of our experience has been fantastic every time. I try something new each time I order, however, I've never ordered anything but the Mexican cuisine (the cheese chili rillenos are my favorite) . Recently I saw a comment on a local FB page bragging about their Greek Salad, so I ordered one. The salad was put together beautifully, but the dressing!!!!.....omg the dressing was IT! “Finally got to try this place. I love burgers and try them everywhere I go. I had the Southwest burger with tots. The burger was possibly the best burger I’ve ever had. Tots were awesome, nice and crispy, Alexa’s fries were awesome, again, nice and crispy. Kelly potatoes salad was great as well with a sweet relish flavor. A simple lemonade to top it off. We left with an egg nog milkshake to go. Everything was great!! Go check it out!! I will be going back for the breakfast items I saw on the menu.“

“Fenton's Chef is excellent along with their attentive table service. Their Lamb Kabobs were grilled to absolute perfection (medium) as always! My sister ordered the Tawook Lemon Oregano entre and it was so delicious and tender!!!! ..entree and side dish portions are generous and memorable!....You just can't go wrong no matter what you order....it was so outstanding that we both ended up ordering a SECOND entree and sides to take home with us.!!! They also have a nice semi-private dinning area to one side for larger family or event groups! Thank you La Marsa for another great dinning experience.“

“For those unaware, this PitaWay is halal, which means the meat they serve was raised and slaughtered HUMANELY. So if someone says it’s a bit more expensive than other places that’s one reason. I NEVER eat chicken unless it was raised and slaughtered humanely, and it’s worth it to pay a bit more at PitaWay, but honestly, I think their prices are perfectly set. The chicken (I eat white) is always great, and the portions, although they vary a bit from visit-to-visit, are always fair. Atmosphere is only a 3 in my book, but I prefer a both and a larger space. I believe PitaWay wants to discourage patrons from lollygagging, hence the small seating area and rock-hard chairs (goal achieved! lol). For a healthier alternative, I’d definitely recommend PitaWay!!“

“I really miss the Holly Hotel, especially this time of year. They always had the most wonderful Halloween and Christmas experiences. We loved the food and ambience here and the comedy club in the basement was a fun and affordable night out for everyone. The person that blocked them from rebuilding after the fire should be ashamed for taking this wonderful restaurant from the community. Shame on you!“

“We were regulars at Empress of China for years. My whole extended family was. The Lotus room is the owners son and has a lot of the same menu with some added greatness! The Mongolian beef and Mongolian chicken is to die for!! It’s made different from any Mongolian beef/chicken I’ve ever had. The lettuce wraps are also amazing and they have the best egg rolls and crab Rangoons around! I also love the sizzling rice soup and won ton soup! I miss the meat sticks terribly please bring those back! I am so happy to find The Lotus room and their amazing food and traditional Chinese recipes. The chef is amazing and the woman at the front desk is super friendly! I’d love them to open back dine in and not just take out. But I’ll take anything I can get. It’s my favorite food of all time!“

We was friendly, quick to take our order, made sure we had everything we needed, and made sure we were happy. We live closer to the Lake Orion location but would make the drive back to Fenton because the service was great.“
