“We celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary at one our favorite places. Our server Jacob was amazing! We sat outside on the patio and the atmosphere was great. “Five stars! We ended a week of camping with a vehicle delay on our way home and stopped for lunch at Big Bob’s while my husband took the truck to get fixed. First of all, the food was amazing (our son said the deep dish was better than Giordano’s). But more importantly, Rob and his staff took were beyond hospitable to our 3 kids and I as we spent the next 5 hours utilizing their Uno cards, Connect Four and enjoying their complementary popcorn. If you’re ever in the Grand Rapids area we highly recommend giving them a try. We’ll definitely be back next time we come through Grand Rapids.“

“We went to this Cottage Inn because we haven’t had it since college. It is such a cute restaurant. The man who waited on us was so friendly and patient while we figured out what we wanted. The food was made fresh while we waited and it was done very quickly. The pizza was amazing and the breadsticks came with a garlic cream cheese sauce that was incredible! “Hands down great food. We ordered a 2 topping pizza, manicotti and a pizza sub... and we loved it all! The sauce is delicious... the bread is great.. the crust is perfect and we all walked away raving about it. It was one of those meals you will never forget. We live an hour away but will make sure to stop by every time we are in the area! And the staff... the icing on the cake. Great and memorable experience“

“We order Jets very regularly at our office. So about 15 minutes ago I ordered tomorrow’s office lunch from Jet's Pizza Forest Hills location. About 14 minutes ago, I got a call from a GR number and ignored it .... because ROBO CALLS all the time..... I got a voicemail from James @ Jet’s trying to determine if my order was for tonight (since I forgot to change delivery time to tomorrow 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️) or for tomorrow. In his voicemail he mentioned that since we usually order on Mondays, he’s going to assume it’s for tomorrow unless I call back. How many companies would go through that trouble??? Or even remember their regular clients?? I’m impressed. 👏🏼👏🏼“

“We walked past about a month ago and it smelled so delicious I couldn't forget it. We had the chance to stop in last night to order a pie and cheese sticks and we were not disappointed. The young ladies working, Layla and Victoria, were very professional and helpful with our questions. The food is delicious and the prices are not terrible. “Their New York style pizza crust was a pretty good take on NY pizza, but the rest of the pie was not NY. I am not from NY but have spent my share of time on nybpizza quests in all 5 boros. This pie way too much of the mozzarella they brag about that was loaded on a sauce that has ZERO to do with the basil/ fennel sweetness of a NY pie. To serve a NY pie, you can't use a detroit sauce and it is essential to use a blend of cheeses instead of overdoing the mozzarella to the point of being the rubbery schmotz we received. Place was clean, phone order was efficient and our pies were ready when we arrived. As for detroit style pizza?... it's not my thing. In a pinch I would go to a jets again for cleanliness, service, and great attitude... but the food is not my fave“

“We visited Big O's Pizza and Booze in downtown Grand Rapids and we were not disappointed.

They had one of the best pizza slices out there. They were just finishing cooking it, so it was super fresh and hot—so hot it actually stuck to my plate and made the video even better! My toppings fell off at first, but I was able to scoop them back up and it was still delicious.

The drinks the bartender made were amazing too. She said it was just the ingredients, but I told her it’s not just the drink—it’s the bartender that makes a great drink.

If you get the chance, go check it out. They seriously have one of the best slices around. We can’t wait to go back, sit down, and try a whole pizza.“

Nowadays it's hard to find a meal that tastes like your mother made it. Huge compliments to the chef!! You are missing out if you haven't stopped into this gem. “I really wanted to love our visit because we’ve had such great experiences at the other Flo's locations, but this time was just okay. On the positive side, the staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming! They greeted us right away and made the pickup process easy.
The pizza itself had great flavor—the sauce is definitely a highlight, and they don’t skimp on the toppings. However, the crust was a bit inconsistent this time; it was a little doughy in the middle and didn't have that signature crisp we usually expect from Flo's. We also noticed the prices have crept up quite a bit recently, making it a little less 'budget-friendly' for a casual family night than it used to be.
It’s still a solid local spot, but hoping for a bit more consistency with the bake next time we stop by!“

He and I are both foodies and love going on adventures for restaurants that go a step above in both food taste, presentation, atmosphere and service. And I'm here to tell you that Alfanos hit all of these with flying colors. Cody and Alex were our bartenders/servers. They were excellent. I had the Chicken picata and it was off the chart with flavor and presentation not to mention a healthy serving. Delicious is all I kept saying. Compliments to the chef!!!!! My goodness I can't wait to go and try something else. My husband had the chicken parmesan dinner and too was very pleased. Thank you very much to our servers and the Alfanos for a wonderful date nite and dining experience 😊 we will definitely be back.“
