“Ordered a yellow birthday cake for my mentor’s birthday. It was a crowd pleaser. The icing was a great texture and not too sweet, and the cake itself was SO moist and flavorful. So many people tried it and said that it was some of the best birthday cake they’ve ever tried. The cupcakes were OK - not as good as the cake - but still decent. I probably wouldn’t get those again but that cake was a real winner. Dr. T even told me to write a good review because he was so pleased. Will be coming back here for more birthday cakes!!! “My mother, daughter, nieces and myself have long attended this delightful establishment. The food has always been exceptional and creative, with different monthly options. Yesterday, I took my mother there to pick up a special lunch for her 100th birthday, and they certainly did not fail to disappoint! They were way more than kind to her and we took home a fabulous lunch of quiche, salad and dessert pie. Each morsel was absolutely delicious and we both ate our entire meal. Mom loves the crust they make here the best, and she comes from a long line of excellent bakers who used wood stoves for their creations. So many flavours ..not just the norm, like Ricotta ( which by the way was my Favourite ) , tiramisu , all fruit flavours and Bavarian cream too. The actual donut itself was so light and married the filling beautifully.👍🏻 Not those heavy type ones that you would normally experience. The dangerous Part was that you could eat twice as much .😂 The staff was so kind and helpful. I hope they sell them not just on Paczki Day Because I’m sure I’ll be craving it ..they are that good .😋 Great Job La Dolce Italian Bakery👏👏 If you haven’t been to this establishment you must pay them a visit . I called her last minute in a panic because none of my other bakeries could work with me and my time frame, but Amie did! I had a bookclub meeting and was trying to find a specific type of dessert that no one else offered me, she talked me through the differences and similarities between everything on her list and I continued on with my order from her. I ordered the Lemon Ricotta Cookies. They were one of the most DELICIOUS cookies I have ever personally tried. She’s the only baker I call now.
