We ordered a pistachio affogato but we were told they ran out of vanilla ice cream so we took it with chocolate and the owner (I am assuming) told us we wouldn’t like it with chocolate ice cream and that she would make us something else. “My friend and I had lunch at Coriander Kitchen and Farm yesterday 6/23. We came back because we enjoyed our first visit last year so much! However, at this visit the food was not so good. I ordered fish and chips and my fish was overcooked and the french fries were not hot. My friend ordered smelt which were awful and greasy which we sent back. We asked for lemon which never came to the table and our waiter seem to be the only one there and they were busy so I don't think we got the attention that we were due. I know this establishment can do better, so I will be going back. But yesterday's service and food were awful.“

“Have been going her for at least 40 years if not longer. The food is absolutely wonderful. The ambience inside the restaurant is very comfortable and most relaxing. The only bad thing is they have not fixed the men's bathroom in over a year, maybe longer. We women do not enjoy sharing a bathroom with men who pea on the floor and also on the toilet seat. We want our bathroom back!“

“(July 2026). First off, a big thank you to our server Jah'Qwan. He was just fantastic and really made our anniversary dinner extremely enjoyable. This was our first time dining at the Cactus Club. The atmosphere is definitely one of the best for an intimate dining experience - quaint, quiet, and a soft piano player. Very very nice. The lighting was perfect (we sometimes have a hard time seeing the menu since we are getting older :).
My wife had a 1/2 dozen west-coast oysters for an appetizer - they were just outstanding. She ordered the Veal with Risotto (it was good but definitely a shared dish as it was a large portion).
I had the Filet Mignon - cooked and seasoned perfectly!
The star of the dinner was definitely the asparagus - I know, weird, but this asparagus was probably the best I've eaten in a very long time, hands-down.
For dessert we had the Chocolate Torte - fabulous! We compared this to the torte we had at Bobby Flays' restaurant Amalfi in Las Vegas, and it was just better.
Overall, our anniversary dinner was one of the best. Accolades to Jah'Qwan, the cooking staff, and the young lady who makes the desserts. Thank you!“

“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

“Originally from Michigan but now live in Florida. Went to Detroit for the weekend to attend Red Wings games. Looked for perch dinners and found Andrew’s. Absolutely awesome perch with a generous portion. Loved the atmosphere of the old time era. Staff exceptionally friendly as was the owner. Would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to return. What I liked was the minimal breading so you have the true taste of perch. This is by far the place to go if you love perch.“

The flowers were absolutely beautiful and freshly prepared by the time I arrived — you could tell real care went into them. I had the pleasure of chatting with Darrion from operations, who was incredibly kind and helpful while they were putting the order together. It's rare to find that kind of genuine, friendly service these days.

I also got to try one of their salads, and I was impressed — super fresh, delicious, and packaged so compactly that it was easy to take on the go. Everything about this place reflects a team that truly takes pride in what they do.

I am a teacher and was looking for a local pizza place...and one of my students recommended this pizza place. What an amazing choice! We found a great deal online for a large pizza. Since I was ordering as a reward for a few students I asked them to double cut the slices and they easily accommodated my special request. The cheese was so good, the sauce was tasty and the kids gobbled up the pepperoni ?

“I frequent this Panera Bread restaurant often when I visit my mom. I have had a couple snafu's on different occasions (as one does with any restaurant, such as a missing drink or chicken not being put on the side) & Corinna, the manager, has always helped me out with them with kindness, understanding, & patience. The snafu's haven't been catastrophic by any means but small minor mistakes. And she always goes out of her way to make things right. Reviews are not always for what that company got wrong but are also for giving the praise to someone who deserves it & I feel Corinna deserves it. “1st time ordering. We needed something quick and reasonably priced. A Quick hunger and Pizza fix. Satisfactory! Carl was exceptional and patient with my questions when ordering. We Definitely will be ordering again and trying other Pizzas and Menu items. I can’t elaborate on the atmosphere as I sent my Son to pick it up. We ordered from the 10 Mile and Gratiot Store.“
