Mexican Restaurants near Grosse Pointe

“I go here for lunch a couple times a week & typically use the app to order, because it saves so much time as I am able to give it good thought before driving to the store. 👍🏻
Every order: the food is delicious, hot, & freshly made exactly as I'd asked.

Thank you for so many great lunches & the great care given preparing my meals!! I really appreciate you being here! Y'all are 🤩 #ROCKSTARS ✨ 🌯“

“Best place yet around here. It will be great to see them GROW... Please don't go no where.“

“los mejores tacos 🌮 estilo mexicano 🇲🇽 y su gran variedad en platillos“

“First visit and will definitely be back! Everything was delicious, staff attentive, best guacamole ever! Highly recommend!“

“The Birria pizza and loaded fries were amazing and the sauces they include were equally amazing!“

“Great new add to the downtown Detroit restaurant offerings! Korean/Mexican fusion. Bone-in short rib burrito and birria grilled cheese were both off the charts. Also excellent service. Chef stopped by our table and gave us the full story about the restaurant. Highly recommended!“

“First time here with the family and was a great experience.
Fawzia was super friendly and should be your brand ambassador she made sure we ordered what we liked by letting us sample before we choose. Food was excellent. Noelle was very friendly as well.“

“Great tacos The very best margaritas! Awesome waitstaff .“

“Great food and service. Our new favorite Mexican spot in the area!“

“This place was hands down better than crazy Gringo“

“Lots of great Choices and fresh I like the sauces as well as the many toppings“

“This might be the best taco I’ve ever had!!!! Highly recommend. Simply perfect and authentic!! Wowowow!“

“This is a true hidden gem. The place is nice and cozy, good music and good people. The servers are friendly and happy, and the food is delicious. Everything tasted fresh and high quality, and the portion sizes are more than generous. Definitely give this place a try if you haven't. It felt like going to a friend's family house for lunch. Will absolutely be back.“

“Always love the food.“

“First time.. Awesome food… highly recommended!!!!“

“Stopped in tonight, coming all the way in from the County to pick up my birthday dinner😁 we chose a platter so we would try a bit of everything. The young waiter that took my order was polite, friendly, and courteous, and the prep time while I waited for my order, I was served water and some chips and salsa. I cannot believe I have waited this long to try this amazing hidden gem will definitely go back to try the jalapeño margarita it sounded delicious! I will definitely be back“

“Blown away by how good this was. Was craving Mexican food for a good while and never really noticed Taqueria Alma was in my city. Ordered a Wet Burrito Dinner which came out to be $12.71. Fantastic service and food.

The whole meal was fresh and piping hot, the chicken was delicious, and it was an extremely affordable meal. Before I received my order, a customer inside let the cashier know that it was the best tacos he'd eaten and I'm glad I took his word for it- it seriously was that good. This meal came with lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, beans and rice on the sides.

If you're ever in the mood for an affordable meal or you're in the area and wanting something delicious to eat, Taqueria Alma is there for you.“

“I just visited previous week, felt so delightful and confirmable experience not just the food matters but customer service of employees is greatly appreciated and owner is really down to earth who served as well upon our arrival. Felt so welcome! Must visit“

“Great place for Great food. My buddy Allan will fix you up a great Margarita.“

“Great food, drinks & service!“

“What a great experience and the staff was fantastic“

“While I love the flavor of their food, the only time we've had an order 100% correct was the first time we ordered. Every time we order since then there's something missing, fries overcooked and hard, messed up items, and things added to what we've ordered when we've requested it to be removed. Thankfully I simply don't like tomatoes and onions and am not allergic to them, cuz they ALWAYS forget to remove the pico when my receipt even says "no pico de gallo". Their queso blanco and their Sabor sauce are probably the two best things about them, at least when they remember to include it even if you pay for extra. For how pricey they are I would expect to have my order correct all the time. I'll be going down to the taco trucks in Southwest Detroit from now on cuz they always get the order right, they're delicious, AND they're inexpensive.“

“Absolutely wonderful restaurant and great vibes! Food is 👌“

“Their taco salads are amazing! My granddaughter loves their birria. I also recommend their chips and queso. Their mild salsa could use a little more flavor but it's good. And if you want dessert their tres leche cake is really good but also check out their brownies. Sooo good!“

“This place is absolutely amazing. I ordered the Jerk Chicken Burrito lunch combo and it was delicious. I’ll definitely be back.“

“I have been going here for decades. It's always delicious authentic Mexican food. A great owner, bar, bar staff. Beautiful decor. Gorgeous flowers in patio every summer. A fav of mine.“

“I can honestly say I wasn't expecting much. Its a burger from a gas station. But let me tell you, it was almost a religious experience. I took the first bite of the simple smash burger and I didnt process what it was I was eat. The second bite, I had to set the burger down to appreciate what was going on. The bread was warm the meat was salty and spicy and hit the umami sweet spot. The smash burger had the crunchy edges but still had that firm meat bite. It was easily the best burger ive had in the last 15 years.“

“It was all love. Fresh mex came to Amazon Det6 for night lunch for the employees and the time I come for work is when the food court ⅖usually closes. I went to the lunchroom hoping the food didn't close. When I arrived fresh mex was just packing up. Chef looked at me from afar and gave me nod and asked if I was hungry. Boy, you should seen my eyes light up when me asked that question. I ran as fast as I could to the counter. I got the yellow rice bowl/chicken with the toppings of cheese and salsa. My first bite felt almost close to heaven. They use chicken thighs so you already know that the chicken is juicy. I do appreciate the hospitality. Much love.“

“The service and food were amazing. The amount of food you get for the price feels like we’ve went back in time. You don’t feel like you’re being ripped off & the owner (I think he was the owner) graciously gave me more sauce since my husband forgot to ask for it on when he was ordering. Overall I would recommend 10/10!“

“Great food and service. Portions and price are on point.“

“Delicious food, friendly service“

“Awesome quality and healthy food.“

“Great food and really good coffee! I love the variety that is offered.“

“I just had the Birria Tacos and Spicy Street Corn. Excellent!! I will be back! St Clair Shores location, east side of Greater Mack & Carolina St, south of 9 Mile. 😋“

“Great food and service very reasonably priced and I love the Mundo bowl“

“Absolutely! Mr. Ralph Carico is hands down the most recommended and reliable stock trader out there. He can help you manage your investments and turn them into huge profits. If you're looking for assistance, I highly recommend reaching out to him via Ralph Carico He's the real deal!“

“Typically a fast food restaurant is not memorable but Quesada is an exception. I've become very attached to their Cilantro Lime Fish Burrito bowl. On a bed of rice with crispy vegetables and refried beans it's healthy and novel taste treat!“

“My favorite del taco in the area! First off the workers are absolutely amazing! They are so kind and hardworking and always strive to get your order as hot and fresh as possible with a smile 😀 another thing I love about del taco that beats the other taco place is that their toppings are fresh toppings and not from a bag! And it's not just tacos it's burgers and chicken as well. Also one of my favorite things is you can get all types of food 24 hours a day. I'm a morning person and I love that I can get something besides breakfast stuff here at del taco, I can get regular lunch/dinner food all day long! It's just awesome they provide those options and it still tastes fresh!“

“Had a great experience at Qdoba today! Andrew took excellent care of us from start to finish. He was friendly, professional, and made sure everything was perfect with our order. The food was fresh and delicious, and his customer service really stood out. Thanks, Andrew, for always making our visit enjoyable, we’ll definitely be back!“

“Taco Bell is my go to for fast food...always a great location to pop in. Or drive through friendly accomodati g service. As a vegetarian they always offer different things they can do for me..and now as a regular Gobi and the other staff always make sure my orders are correct. Taco Bell is definitely my happy place 🙌“
