“We had dinner at Kona last night in Tecumseh on the rooftop. We had a fantastic meal and the service was great, considering there was only one wait staff up there. He did a wonderful job. My only complaint would be the seating. They are funky looking chairs, but they’re SOOOO uncomfortable. I’m 5’6 and the seat was way too deep!! Forces you to sit perched forward, which is really uncomfortable. And the seats are so hard I actually had a very sore tailbone. Other than that it was GREAT!!!!“

It looks like they probably do more take out than dine in.

“I genuinely have nothing but positive things to say about Kabar! I reached out about an omakase catering event for my sister's bachelorette party. Tommy called me and we had an in depth discussion of everyone's budgets, likes, dislikes, etc. He was incredibly responsive and a pleasure to work with and helped curate a fully customized menu. The chefs arrived early and were extremely accommodating to everyone's preferences-- and the sushi was so delicious! They created a very interactive program where they even taught us how to make a roll! Our experience with Kabar was unique and memorable. I could not recommend them more!“

“Honestly best service and best sushi spot in Windsor, if you’re looking for a cute and delicious spot to take your loved ones, California sushi is the place to go. The two owners are always nice and kind with their great customer service, always come in and leave with a smile on my face. Overall, my favourite sushi spot in the Windsor area hands down.“

“We tried them for the first time today at Arts, Beats and Eats and HOLY COW!!! Best food we have had in a VERY long time! The Sushi Sando with shrimp tempura and the Sushi Nachos with spicy shrimp were absolutely to die for! We will definitely be visiting their store front location!“

“Though only limitedly open, Mr. Lee prepares the best sushi that I have ever had in my area (and outside of it in many cases).
His prices are extremely affordable, a large menu from which to choose from and he provides excellent service to you either as you wait or for carryout.
He is very friendly and I've noticed, while waiting for my food to be prepared, that he has many repeat customers (besides myself) with whom he greets warmly.“

“I arrived on an early Friday night. It was busy. I was seated and I didn’t get a menu until 15 minutes later. After I placed my order, it arrived fairly quickly. I ate the Firecracker roll and the Shoyu Ramen.
I personally don’t like sushi but the firecracker was AMAZING. I’m definitely coming back only for this dish.
Shoyu ramen was 1/10. Don’t bother.
The decor is pretty out dated. The place is wheelchair assessable. There is a parking garage right across this restaurant. There are a few parking spots outside but they were taken up at the time of visit.“

“One of the best meals of my life. Everything we ate was the best version of that thing I've had. Specifically, we had an incredible miso soup, wagyu yakitori, a tuna tartare & truffle maki, and nigiri that would just perfectly balanced flavor bombs. Fantastic service, amazing execution. And the Jasmine Tea is incredible. This will be one of our go-to spots for special occasions in the area.“

“I love the renovations since I had last been to Tenko. It no longer feels crowded, as the tables are nicely spaced, and the room itself is more open, creating a modern and relaxed ambiance. I also appreciate the iPad ordering system for the all-you-can-eat option. This allows us to peruse the menu without being hounded by a server, submit when we are ready, review the order, and click on individual items to see their descriptions (am I the only one who forgets the names of the rolls I like?!). The ingredients always seem fresh at Tenko. The rice is not stale, and the cooked fish is always hot. I particularly enjoyed the different Dragon Rolls and all the Hand Rolls. The all you can eat price point was the same as similar sushi restaurants in the area.
My only complaint would be the service. Our server was polite, however, we had to request water, wasabi, and sweet mayo, which I feel should be offered when seated, as is standard practice at most restaurants. We also had to flag down the server to refill water and wasabi. I feel they should be checking in briefly while bringing each item ordered. The food arrived at a great pace. It did not come too quickly, but there was not a huge lull in each dish being brought out. We did not feel rushed and enjoyed time after supper just chatting and hanging out. The restaurant is a solid 4 (not above and beyond expectations, simply within reason), and we will be dining here again.“

“We celebrated our ten year anniversary and were surprised with a beautiful card at the table with lovely wishes from the restaurant. Dinner was fantastic, I recommend the filet and the shrimp appetizer. The shrimp is AMAZING! Before we left we were gifted a bottle of house champagne.“

“Good was delicious and plentiful. Definitely would buy from again. Maybe if you want something added, ask for it next time ( read a lot of complaints about onions not in the fried rice) but it was delicious. Sweet and Sour sauce served as a side…perfect so the chicken doesn’t get soggy (and yes it would thicken if you let it cool-another response to a bad review). Overall, would definitely recommend. Dumplings were fantastic, soup was full of wontons.“

“First time getting poke poke and it was awesome. Lawrence was the only guy working and he was great. He was very helpful and gave great suggestions. He was very understanding and made it seem like we had all the time in the world to figure out my meal. The food was delicious and fresh. “I have been coming here for at least a decade. It's one of the best sushi places in SE Michigan. Great for dates or business entertaining.
Parking: Next to a massive city lot. So unless it's a festival in town your set.
Wheelchair accessibility: Flat one floor so zero issues for handicapped persons. They have booths and tables. Bathroom was handicap accessible last I checked.“

“I can’t say enough about our dining experience! This restaurant is on my TOP list here in Nashville and I will now frequent. Everything from start to finish was superb! Our waiter Sid was nothing g more than AMAZING and the manager was very nice and came by to say hello! The FOOOOOD was SO good it’s definitely worth it!!“
