“We just came from Kona Sushi in Tecumseh. Our server was excellent. Dominica helped us navigate the menu and we chose the Golden Dragon and the Red Dragon roll. They were both excellent. Lovely decor. Our meal was promptly served. Dominica also made us a pitcher of Mojitos that were also excellent. I highly recommend Kona in Tecumseh.“

“We tried them for the first time today at Arts, Beats and Eats and HOLY COW!!! Best food we have had in a VERY long time! The Sushi Sando with shrimp tempura and the Sushi Nachos with spicy shrimp were absolutely to die for! We will definitely be visiting their store front location!“

It looks like they probably do more take out than dine in.
Definitely recommend and will almost certainly find an excuse to be back here next time we are in town.“

“I genuinely have nothing but positive things to say about Kabar! I reached out about an omakase catering event for my sister's bachelorette party. Tommy called me and we had an in depth discussion of everyone's budgets, likes, dislikes, etc. He was incredibly responsive and a pleasure to work with and helped curate a fully customized menu. The chefs arrived early and were extremely accommodating to everyone's preferences-- and the sushi was so delicious! They created a very interactive program where they even taught us how to make a roll! Our experience with Kabar was unique and memorable. I could not recommend them more!“

The two owners are always nice and kind with their great customer service, always come in and leave with a smile on my face. Overall, my favourite sushi spot in the Windsor area hands down.“

“Though only limitedly open, Mr. Lee prepares the best sushi that I have ever had in my area (and outside of it in many cases).
His prices are extremely affordable, a large menu from which to choose from and he provides excellent service to you either as you wait or for carryout.
He is very friendly and I've noticed, while waiting for my food to be prepared, that he has many repeat customers (besides myself) with whom he greets warmly.“

“I arrived on an early Friday night. It was busy. I was seated and I didn’t get a menu until 15 minutes later. After I placed my order, it arrived fairly quickly. I ate the Firecracker roll and the Shoyu Ramen.
I personally don’t like sushi but the firecracker was AMAZING. I’m definitely coming back only for this dish.
Shoyu ramen was 1/10. Don’t bother.
The decor is pretty out dated. The place is wheelchair assessable. There is a parking garage right across this restaurant. There are a few parking spots outside but they were taken up at the time of visit.“

“One of the best meals of my life. Everything we ate was the best version of that thing I've had. Specifically, we had an incredible miso soup, wagyu yakitori, a tuna tartare & truffle maki, and nigiri that would just perfectly balanced flavor bombs. Fantastic service, amazing execution. And the Jasmine Tea is incredible. This will be one of our go-to spots for special occasions in the area.“

Had lunch at Tenko Sushi on a Thursday and was pleasantly surprised. The AYCE menu and selection reminded me of what you’d find in Mississauga, Oakville, or Toronto—big variety, iPad ordering, mix of Japanese and Thai items, and pricing that’s on par with other spots. Lunch was $27.99 + tax (about $31), which felt fair for the quality and options.
Highly recommend the green dragon roll, red dragon roll, salmon rose, salmon sushi, sweet potato and pumpkin tempura. Shrimp tempura was smaller than I’ve seen elsewhere but still tasty. Service was friendly and fast. The restaurant was clean, quiet, and had a relaxed atmosphere. Lots of free parking available.“

“Usually a critic when it comes to restaurants. Spent my birthday here as a surprise from my husband. NO NOTES. The staff in entirety, so professional, courteous, and personable. We had Malorie, she was so very kind and tended to every need throughout our time here. Management came by multiple times to check in. The food- we ordered Spicy tuna rice cakes, wagyu gyoza, strip steak, lobster tempura, and King Ora salmon. Highly recommend everything! They really took the time and care to make this an experience. I’ll recommend this restaurant to anyone who will listen. Thank you Zuzu for making this birthday memorable.“

“We celebrated our ten year anniversary and were surprised with a beautiful card at the table with lovely wishes from the restaurant. Dinner was fantastic, I recommend the filet and the shrimp appetizer. The shrimp is AMAZING! Before we left we were gifted a bottle of house champagne.“

“Sushi, sushi and let me say it again SUSHI! Treat yourself to Hi Sushi anytime, but consider trying it during their lunch specials, less than $11 for two sushi rolls!?! Wait and even better the lunch specials run on Saturdays!?! Recommendation: Please call & visit their website for the specific times and days the lunch specials are offered because the menu could be changed. The Sushi was so tasty, that I had it for dinner! On the second occasion, I went inside and the staff was friendly. Cannot wait to dine in next time because the atmosphere was inviting. Recommendation: Deep Fried Spicy California Roll and California Roll, both were equally delicious! If you want a bomb of flavor on your tongue, make sure to dab a little wasabi and ginger slice too. “Good was delicious and plentiful. Definitely would buy from again. Maybe if you want something added, ask for it next time ( read a lot of complaints about onions not in the fried rice) but it was delicious. Sweet and Sour sauce served as a side…perfect so the chicken doesn’t get soggy (and yes it would thicken if you let it cool-another response to a bad review). Overall, would definitely recommend. Dumplings were fantastic, soup was full of wontons.“

“First time getting poke poke and it was awesome. Lawrence was the only guy working and he was great. He was very helpful and gave great suggestions. He was very understanding and made it seem like we had all the time in the world to figure out my meal. The food was delicious and fresh. “I have been coming here for at least a decade. It's one of the best sushi places in SE Michigan. Great for dates or business entertaining.
Parking: Next to a massive city lot. So unless it's a festival in town your set.
Wheelchair accessibility: Flat one floor so zero issues for handicapped persons. They have booths and tables. Bathroom was handicap accessible last I checked.“
