“My husband and I had dinner at La Catrina’s while visiting Houghton. It was a great experience. The service was excellent. The food was delicious, and even the presentation was outstanding! I had the chicken and spinach burrito and my husband had chicken fajitas. We shared the fried ice cream. I highly recommend checking it out, they are just a few minutes from downtown and very easy parking.”

Zaq?) from The Ambassador in Houghton, Michigan… the Northwest passage drink you invented was phenomenal! 51k IPA mixed with LINIE Aquavit and an amazing lemon honey simple syrup… my wife stole my drink during lunch today. They have friendly staff, a wide selection of specialty and homemade coffees and drinks, a variety of bakery items, comfortable temperatures, classy music, and incredible prices!!! My large 20oz Cafe Au Lait with almond milk was steamed to perfection and paired wonderfully with their Chocolate Almond brewed coffee of the day. I even got a free refill with their Papua New Guinea flavor, all for the price of $4.24! Don’t miss this family-price-friendly coffee shop experience with so many accommodations, excellent customer service, and quality products!”

“The Douglass House Saloon is a Houghton classic! Great atmosphere, cold drinks, and the popcorn makes it even better. This bar has been here since the 1800’s. The real highlight though is the bartender, Tristen—super friendly, attentive, and always makes you feel welcome. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place (and Tristen behind the bar) will make your night! Enjoyed having a drink for my 50th Birthday after dropping off our daughter at Michigan Tech university.”

“LOVE ROYS TEN GRAIN BREAD. I’ve been getting the TEN GRAIN BREADdelivered by a friend — here in Marquette for a few months now. I get it dropped off to me. It is FAR BETTER than any grain breads I have tried around the Marquette, Negaunee, Ishpeming. I feel It beats the Marquette well know bakeries for a grain type bread. Pure ingredients,too. “Seat yourself style bar and grill, quick and friendly customer service. Several TV’s with sports and a few led boards with up coming games with various sports. Good selections of spirits! The chili cheese fries were amazing, loaded with great portions of chili and nacho cheese. The classic beef hoagie I dressed up as a beef-N-cheddar closest thing to Arby’s lol came with chips and a pickle spear, good size portion.”
