Updating my original review. I swung through the drive through for lunch. This time it wasn’t busy at all, but still took a decent amount of time, about ten mins. The food however was awesome and correct. I got a spicy sandwich and it was cooked perfectly and tasted fresh out of the fryer. I actually had to wait five mins for it to cool off to eat it. This time I got red beans and rice and the beans are packed with flavor.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen offers really good food, with chicken that tastes fresh and has a crispy crunch. The spicy sandwich is cooked perfectly and tastes fresh out of the fryer. The red beans and rice are packed with flavor, and the bogo chicken sandwiches have great breading that is greasy in a good way. The food is very good, and there are no issues with customer service. However, service can take a decent amount of time, about ten mins, and one visit involved waiting over 30 minutes. The location can be disorganized, and orders are sometimes wrong, like a side of Cajun rice arriving as plain rice. It seems like a check your bag before you drive off place. The parking lot was a mess with flooding and bumps but is all fixed now. The restaurant is always clean, and the workers are patient, professional, and friendly. The manager is always nice and took care of a messed up order. The employees are full of good vibes and work really well together. One employee is an all star who makes the food perfect and the order correct.
