Burger King in Kentwood

“My favorite Burger King in the area! The staff are always friendly and smiling. I have never had a long wait at this location. The food always gets to me fast and fresh. They have a Freestyle soda machine, so they have better options than most places. The inside of the restaurant is always clean and well maintained.“

“It has probably been at least 15 years since I went to a Burger King, because the last time I went my Whopper was gross and I got food poisoning from it - not this location though. It was on the east side of the state. I had a couple people telling me that the Whoppers were back to being good now, so I downloaded the app and made an order with a Whopper Junior because I wanted to start slow. 🤣. I also added a jalapeno popper things, and since the app gave me a freebie for signing up, I got a classic chicken sandwich. The Whopper and the jalapeno poppers were good. I don't think a Whopper is ever going to taste as good as it did when I was a kid, but this one was way better than the last few ones I had all that time ago. The chicken sandwich however is now disgusting. It's not the fault of the restaurant, it's the product. It barely resembles chicken and it's really salty. It's gross. The food was actually pretty hot, and the wait time in line wasn't bad. I went about 10:00 p.m. I'll most likely be back for Whopper Wednesday. And I know their breakfasts used to be good, so I'll give those a try again.
This location seemed to be a pretty good location.

Update: I went for Whopper Wednesday at the same location. Got a regular sized Whopper. It was hot and good. Went at about 10:00 p.m. . The wait wasn't too bad. Then I went again tonight on the way home after I got out of work late, around 10:00 p.m. . Got another Whopper Jr and this time I got fries. The Whopper was good and hot and the fries were fresh and hot. The fries would have been excellent, but there was WAY too much salt on it. They would have been perfect as they were typing hot but I could barely eat them with as much salt as they had on them. The wait time was still good, and the lady at the window was very friendly. I would say this location is still a solid location, at a 4 out of 5 stars. I would try the fries one more time, maybe I just got a bad batch.

I also have to give this one props, they are open 24 hours a lot of the time! One night if I get a hankering for something sweet I might go get a hot apple pie. 🙂“

“We stopped in lobby for dinner one night and Antonia took care of us! Let me tell you 5 star service like we were at a restaurant! She really went above and beyond to make our experience phenomenal. Thank you girl, you ROCK. Keep up your positivity.“

“Usually a good experience, but today I got what can only be described as one of the “best looking” whoppers I’ve ever gotten. It was also absolutely delicious! Staff were all very nice as well. Glad this location reopened!“
