My 83 year old Mother said Polish Countryside Kitchen was THE BEST Polish food she has had since her family dinners in Chicago as a child. (Said the Polish sausage was The Best EVER!) She’s a hard critic to please, nice job! We will make the drive up again.”

“We have been dining here for 19 years. I think we have had Patricia as our server most of those times. She is the best! Actually, everybody at Funistrada welcomes you like family. Food is top shelf. Chicken Saltimbocca, my favorite, tender, juicy, tasty and took half home. Hubby had NY strip, grilled. Delicious, cooked to order and enough he brought some home. Lively atmosphere, you can tell most patrons are repeat visitors who love coming there. It is a true gem. We celebrate birthdays, mothers and fathers days and anniversaries. We passed on dessert, but have had cannolis that are wonderful! Love Funistrada!”

“Oaky’s is out of the way near Grawn, but it’s worth the drive. Old timers knew the place as Giovanni’s Roadhouse, then Maddy’s Tavern. Both had ok food in a rustic building. Oaky’s owners have greatly improved the place. It’s large and airy inside, with a long wraparound deck outside. The food is mighty fine: the kitchen did a first-class job with our Smoked Turkey Club and Steak ’n Mushroom soup. The servers know their stuff and are a pleasure to deal with. The prices are a reasonable - indeed, they’re a buck or two lower per item than what you’ll find at competitors. And the parking lot isn’t the potholed monster like it was back in the old days.”

“I happen to live in interlachen and I absolutely love their barbecue chicken pizza I never have to worry about it not having sauces I don't have to worry about only liking onion on half I have never had a bad experience and all of the employees are so pleasant”

“We stopped in Jodi’s during our recent vacation. We walked in and were instantly greeted by a very friendly waitress. The food was awesome prices were great and we had the best service by a very personable waitress. She made us out of towners feel very welcomed. I highly recommend you stop in for their fish! My husband and son loved it and said it was delicious. Will definitely stop in again if we are in the area. Thank you!!”

“Party of four had dinner there on July 4, 2025. Food was good, but not as advertised on the menu. The apple salad was small and did not have candied walnuts on it and the nachos had no cheese on them. The 1/2 ribs that my husband ordered were tasty, but we ended up ordering cheesy fries after our meals because we were still hungry. The ribs came with coleslaw and nothing else.The server was friendly and efficient.”

“Update, they called and offered a refund and apology. Which was greatly appreciated. We have ordered from them for awhile and was shocked today, but the fact that they took time out of their busy night to call and make an effort to make things right speaks volumes.Ordered pizza tonight at 5:52pm to be delivered. I was quoted 45 minutes, after an hour and 20 minutes ( giving extra time knowing it’s Friday and busy) I call to inquire on where my order is to be told it is still sitting there and they have no one back to deliver it. Okay not major I live 5 minutes up the road I tell them I’ll come get it. Just to get there and see the order I spent $50 on has been sitting on the counter not even under the warmer and is cold because it sat that way for an hour.”

It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for and it was well worth it for such great service and wonderful food. It was my husband and girlfriends birthday and you really made the night.
