My 83 year old Mother said Polish Countryside Kitchen was THE BEST Polish food she has had since her family dinners in Chicago as a child. (Said the Polish sausage was The Best EVER!) She’s a hard critic to please, nice job! We will make the drive up again.”

“Oaky’s is out of the way near Grawn, but it’s worth the drive. Old timers knew the place as Giovanni’s Roadhouse, then Maddy’s Tavern. Both had ok food in a rustic building. Oaky’s owners have greatly improved the place. It’s large and airy inside, with a long wraparound deck outside. The food is mighty fine: the kitchen did a first-class job with our Smoked Turkey Club and Steak ’n Mushroom soup. The servers know their stuff and are a pleasure to deal with. The prices are a reasonable - indeed, they’re a buck or two lower per item than what you’ll find at competitors. And the parking lot isn’t the potholed monster like it was back in the old days.”

“Funistrada is one the best Italian restaurants in Michigan. It hard to get reservations for except in the off season, but it worth the effort. Food is excellent. Service is very good. It is small, so you may feel a little crowded. In summary it is a first class restaurant.”

“Party of four had dinner there on July 4, 2025. Food was good, but not as advertised on the menu. The apple salad was small and did not have candied walnuts on it and the nachos had no cheese on them. The 1/2 ribs that my husband ordered were tasty, but we ended up ordering cheesy fries after our meals because we were still hungry. The ribs came with coleslaw and nothing else.The server was friendly and efficient.”

The food was awesome prices were great and we had the best service by a very personable waitress. She made us out of towners feel very welcomed. I highly recommend you stop in for their fish! We wanted a casual, indoor/outdoor venue that would provide our guests with a laid back atmosphere to connect and celebrate. This venue was perfect for us! We also loved that we were able to rent out the upstairs apartment for the weekend, too. It was so convenient and made set up easier on the day of.”

We have ordered from them for awhile and was shocked today, but the fact that they took time out of their busy night to call and make an effort to make things right speaks volumes.Ordered pizza tonight at 5:52pm to be delivered. I was quoted 45 minutes, after an hour and 20 minutes ( giving extra time knowing it’s Friday and busy) I call to inquire on where my order is to be told it is still sitting there and they have no one back to deliver it. Okay not major I live 5 minutes up the road I tell them I’ll come get it. Just to get there and see the order I spent $50 on has been sitting on the counter not even under the warmer and is cold because it sat that way for an hour.”
