“We had my daughter’s surprise birthday dinner at A plus yesterday. The staff did a wonderful job accommodating our needs including early seating for our several family members who traveled from across state. Our server was wonderful and did a great job taking orders for separate bills. Our food was quick, correct and absolutely delicious. This restaurant is a family favorite for us. It’s the best seafood in Michigan. We always look forward to our visits and will continue to come here for all of our celebrations. Thank you to our server and the staff for making my daughter’s birthday feel so special!“

“I’ve never had a bad meal at any one of their many restaurants. We celebrated my daughter and her graduation this evening with dinner at the Deer Lake Inn. Everything we had was great and the server we had was superb, great food and service. The entire menu is good, you can’t go wrong.“

“We enjoy places that offer a Happy Hour which includes FOOD options. I do not drink alcohol, but I enjoy trying new places and offering a happy hour menu with food allies me to do that. Clam chowder was good, wings were ok, we did ask for extra crispy but we didn't get that ( I think many kitchens are on auto pilot and don't always look at the guest's request, this happens a lot with french fries being undercooked), dynamite shrimp was good but I could have used more seasoning. Brit was our server and was fantastic. I also appreciated that the other staff members were helping each other by clearing plates, bowls, etc. . Great causal place.“

“Came here for a quick dinner with some of my girlfriends after my wedding dress fitting, and it was the perfect spot. The lobster bisque was absolutely delicious, and the menu offered plenty of variety with lots of great options to choose from. We each tried different chef selections, and everyone loved both their food and drinks. I especially appreciated the thoughtful mocktail menu for anyone not drinking but still wanting something special. The service was friendly and very attentive, which made the experience even better. I would definitely go back!“

“The food is excellent. If you're vegan and dining in, tell them right away you don't want the soup and seafood chips that come with it (otherwise, you're just wasting them). I only had a bad experience one time when there was a hair in my food. Prices are reasonable.“

“Words cannot express how calming it is to go to Take Sushi. We have been customers for 21 years. The owner carried our daughter around when she was a baby so we could eat. Today as I prepare to send the baby off to college soon they were there for a special lunch. Let us in early and we had the most exquisite selection of chō moriawase. This is the best sushi around. Our friends who were from Japan said it was their favorite in metro Detroit. It’s our favorite because we love the family atmosphere that resounds in this crazy world!“
