“I fumbled the ball on ordering a cake in time for my daughter’s graduation. After realizing my mistake I called a few great places who were of course, booked. And Never Forgotten said hold. Talked to the Baker and made it happen including an additional request for two trays of mixed little pastries brownies cookies and one with raspberry. They are amazing at this shop where I love to snatch the infamous old world bread right off the shelf. Long story short, everything was perfect for my grad and we even called to pick it up a little late-it was “sure thing” in response to every request from start to finish. Just know from here on out - this spot HITS.

“4 star, could have been 5star if they bake the bread a little longer

1. Location is convenient. I don't have to drive to Dearborn for man'oushé (flat bread) if I am nearby for work.
2 Everything is fresh, bread is roll off from a machine at the back and then bake in the brick oven. They need to bake it a little longer because the back of the bread is sort of white.
3. Meat bread is not oily for some reason. more tomato flavor compare to other bakery. Maybe that's how the owner likes it.
4. Zaatar flavor is mild, herb is not overwhelming. Maybe because I ate it when it was cold.
5. Cheese bread is good, bread is thick like pita bread which is odd.

“I was searching for a spot to enjoy a drink, a snack, and get some work done on my laptop. I first tried the place next door (they have “café” in their name), but they didn’t offer Wi-Fi and suggested I try Cannelle instead. Honestly, I’m so glad they did! This place turned out to be a hidden gem I’d been driving past without ever stopping in.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly, and the staff was incredibly helpful in guiding me through the menu since it was my first visit. The selection of pastries and food is so impressive it’s almost hard to choose — I included a video to show you all of their wonderful options! I ended up with an iced caramel matcha, and it was absolutely delicious.

I stayed for several hours, enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, and appreciated how clean everything was (including the restrooms). What started as a happy accident became a great find, and I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in the area.“
