“This has to be one of the best and most authentic Iraqi and Middle Eastern spots in Sterling Heights. The place has a cozy, quiet atmosphere with a small dining area that gives off a nostalgic Iraqi vibe.
Even though we arrived close to closing time, the staff member there provided outstanding hospitality and customer service. The kebabs are a must-try—the flavor is absolutely incredible 🔥
For the quality and portion size, the pricing is very fair (around $15-$20 per person). I’ll definitely be coming back again, and next time with more friends!“

“Marvelous overloaded mega Mixed Shawarma Fries 🤤💯 WOWED 😋. Gotta be 2 pounds of meat, both Chicken and Beef Shawarma craved off the spit. On top of crunchy Fries with Garlic Sauce Toum OMG perfection. We shared could only eat half, a good bowl of Lentil Soup. $22 for the large will easily feed 4 hungry folks, making this a mega deal 😅. Got to meet Nick the owner, who lives in the back LOL 😂. Not really he's got a family to get home too. Fast friendly service, great food and low prices. “Our local place shut down. Had to bring wife to Birmingham for a surgery and wanted shawarma stopped in. Ordered beef shawarma sandwich, chicken shawarma sandwich, their falafel and Kibbee everything was amazing, fresh, tender. When we come back for follow up appointments will def be coming back to this place. Loved it.“

“Great tasting food with generous portions. Our most recent visit, we ordered the mezza plate for two and vegetarian mezza. The meat was very tender, seasoned perfectly. The variety of the vegetarian mezza was delightful. The pillows of bread that accompany the meal were very tasty too! Great value and quality for your money. Don't change a thing!“

“I have been a loyal customer of Grape Leaves for many years. . First, the food is great and very healthy. It is also reasonably priced. The lunch specials don't cost much more than a fast food combination meal. The staff is courteous and friendly. I have never had a bad experience and would recommend Grape Leaves to anybody looking for healthy Mediterranean food on Northwestern Highway.“

“Lady there was very helpful and informative, they had an engagement booked for the day, everything looked beautiful. Their prices were a bit high but I found out later that their prices fell in the normal range for what everyone bis charging. Place was good size and would fit 200 people comfortably.“
