“This place is magical. My husband and I stayed here 9 years ago and again this last weekend. And it was just as perfect. David, the innkeeper, is amazing! He really makes sure you feel special. The chef that prepared breakfast served a beautiful eggs benedict. Not to mention the lovely brunch with Santa event that we were lucky to attend, the food was awesome. Oh, and the wine is outstanding.“

“Green Bird is a little slice of Heaven! They even practice sustainable farming via their “flerd“ (flock of chickens and herd of sheep) who rotate through each row of vines. I sat down and immediately signed up for the wine club because I knew this was something I wanted to support! And yes, the server was new this season but very knowledgeable and warm. No high-brow wine snobbery here! P.S. wine and cheese pairings are fantastic.“
“On the advice of tourists we met during our stay in Michigan, we went to taste the Big Little wines & were particularly surprised by the Pinot Gris which was excellent. The person at the bar was extremely friendly and we had a great time in the middle of the Michigan vineyard!“

“Had a great experience at Bel Lago! Blake, the winemaker, was very knowledgeable gave us a memorable experience. The wines are excellent and reasonably priced. Some of the best reds in the area! Additionally, there is a great view of lake leelanau. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good time and good wine.“

“Melinda took such great care of our group. We are Fizz Club members but our kidults and their partners had never been. Melinda took lots of time to explain the various sparkling wines and made sure we had everything we needed. She was very attentive despite it being a pretty busy afternoon in the tasting room. We stayed way longer than our reservation but never felt rushed out. Such a great place!“
“We are locals and frequent Hawkin’s Farm Cellars a lot. The service is friendly and the Thai food is exceptional. My husband especially loves the Pad Thai chicken and I am a huge fan of the Green Curry dish. You could literally close your eyes and just point to anything on the menu and never be disappointed!“
“The most fantastic winery in TC, Tracey and her husband Harry the owners were an absolute delight! We even had some car troubles and they were super kind in trying to help us out and let us stay even after close. Could have not had a better experience here. “I have been going to Black Star Farms for over 20 years. Yes my favorite Michigan winery! As a member of the BSF's wine club, I have stayed many times at the Inn also.
have some family friends that came to a wine club dinner about 8 years ago. They use to live in California, visited Napa Valley a lot. took them to 3 + other Winery's, they both said BSF's was the best!!! Good luck in the next 25 years!!“

“This was our surprise hit of our recent trip to the TC area. We stopped in for a quick tasting and some snacks and ended up having our best meal of the trip. Especially loved the pancake and the pasta! Wine was also really good, particularly the Pinot Grigio which is generally one of my least favorite wines. Service was fantastic. We ate indoors which was clean, cute, and comfortable. The outdoor patio is lovely, too. We will be telling everyone we know to check out this gem and are looking forward to visiting again the next time we head up north.“

“Owners chatted us up. Cool mist on a August day first westerly from BigBlue. Also some east off west GT bay. Flowers grew like crazy, plants health. We had the MaLbec each time. Told friends owning Local Pour downstate in Sawyer Michigan along west coast and now they carry it.
We normally stay in TC. Find us a two bed place close to you and we will stay a couple weeks!“
