“If you go to a different Mediterranean restaurant in the area... you are wasting your money! This place has the BEST food and the BEST price hands down. The service is always professional, polite, and coming from a place of really caring about the community and the product they put out. The rice with almonds is amazing. Every time I order a Chicken Kabob I wish I had ordered two because they are so good. Thanks for serving the Downriver community Pita-to-Go!”

“Zukin's Rib Shack holds a special place in my heart. While I do genuinely think the food is some of the best around, . Growing up, my family got Zukin's all the time. My dad and I are pizza afficionados and would get pies from this place all the time. I remember having for my birthday, When my dad got sick, all he ever wanted to eat was a pepperoni and mushroom pizza from this place. Even as he lost his appetite and his hair fell out, even when he didn't feel like eating anything else, he'd eat his pizza and those brownies.

Unrelated, my grandma was a fan of the ribs and I agree with her opinion.

Next month, I'm taking a train across the country to start a new life in the New Mexican desert. Before I leave downriver, I have to grab me a pizza and maybe some ribs. And tbh with you, if you're thinking about grabbing food from here, you should. It's delicious, the prices are fair, and it's down to earth.”

“We experienced this stunning little pizzeria while connecting with a long distance relative for the first time in YEARSSS. IT was well decorated. Friendly service and my friend with stomach issues was able to eat half the pizza (as men do 🤣) and had his first taste of pizza in a year and a half. It was flavorful, non greasy, PROUD pizza. I tasted someone's home kitchen, and since all 3 of my party were driving hours to meet at this little pizzeria, the feeling of home was everything. I even found a lemon soda there I hadn't seen in almost 5 years itself! I was ecstatic! 🤣 It was the little touches in the pizza, in the atmosphere, and in the moments I had there. That will make this a spot I'm definitely returning to at LEAST once a month ❤️

So I searched around and found Calder's. We love it 💕 please don't stop suppling food town! We also just got the chocolate milk to try and it's also delicious! One of the best ones I've had. A favorite in Lincoln Park 3073 Fort has a large following of regular customers 😁. $1.79 each Taco Tuesday packs the place for dine in and take out customers. Sergio and sister Yolanda run the place along with help from three kids. Jalisco Mexico the hometown via Sw Detroit has marvelous Authentic Mexican meals and Booze too. My favorite Al Pastor Tacos 😋 rule, I'm addicted have them once per month. I have them add Sauteed Onions and Jalapeno for a Xtra kicker, with fabulous Salsa Verde. She had the Chicken Tacos 😋, we shared a outstanding Steak Fries. Those fries one of the very best ever Eaten, plenty for 3 or more to share.
