“My husband and I took up residence just opposite the Island House Hotel. At the crack of dawn on our inaugural day, we made our way to the charming Watercolor Cafe, a cozy nook by the water's edge beckoning with its art and inviting shopfront. Such a delightful discovery! The atmosphere was laced with a captivating fragrance, and the initial taste of their noble coffee was a coronation for my taste buds. From this moment forward, this shall be my haven of coffee nirvana.“

“We chose this tavern as it states it's the most historic tavern. I guess I was expecting it to look more historic on the inside. Decor was OK: Paneling, tvs, video (gambling?) machines. The service was excellent, as was the food: boneless wings, tavern burger and fries and baked potato soup. The hot apple cider was sweet and so good!“

“Went in the morning and had a mimosa, that was pretty strong, and the turkey blt. The blt was absolutely delicious. Only downfall was we kept having bees surround us. I sacrificed my cherry from my mimosa and they mostly left us alone. I can't remember what my husband had besides a mountain dew.“

“We ordered the Dill Pickle pizza & the Greek-za Mediterranean pizza (without the hard salami). Both pizza were absolutely amazing! The service here was phenomenal as well. I would recommend you stopping by if you are visiting the UP.“

“Listen, it's so hard to find good vegetarian options when I'm traveling. This has not only been our favorite meal we've had while visiting the area, but the best vegan dog I've ever had over the last 4+ years. You can absolutely tell they put their heart and soul into the food they make. I got the devil dog and it was the best kind of spicy-it hurt so good. The relish on it was scrumptious & will be a meal I remember for sure. I had to call as soon as we finished eating just to tell them they do an amazing job. “Everything was wonderful. The concierges and shuttle service were huge perks, the beach bar was really cool and their pizza was delicious, and everything was very clean. We plan on staying again next year. I highly recommend!“
