Warm comfortable interior to play a game or bet on the lotto.
Don't be fooled by the plain appearance of the outside stop in for great food. Fish and Chips is the best and they have been know for it for decades. Also burgers are top notch. Prices are still reasonable.

“I scheduled a Celebration of Life event on Wednesday afternoon July 13th, reserving one of the 2 private rooms that are available for gatherings. I gave a $100 deposit which was later subtracted from the total bill.. so there was no charge for the room. The large room holds up to 100 people, we were in the smaller room, having a guest list of 23. My guests raved about the food and our server Rebecca. She did a Great job, very attentive, and friendly. Thanks also to Jackie, and the rest of the staff. Kudos to the kitchen! The Salmon and Chicken Marsala were very popular that afternoon and cooked to perfection. Thank you Aspen for making my event so special!! My comment to Donna, the manager, you can certainly be proud of the way this restaurant functions. Relaxed atmosphere, professional employees, great food.....“

“The place was awesome great burgers and extremely great prices. The wait staff was great me and my wife popped in for a beer and some food. We were greeted instantly when we walked in And we had drinks in front of us in about 2 minutes The food was awesome The burgers range from about 8 bucks to 12 bucks depending on what you order. The fries were like five bucks for a whole basket. They also have outdoor seating with a nice patio in downtown Utica which is great. Right down the street from Jimmy John's field. You could definitely sit out on the patio and watch the fireworks when the field is doing them. Could definitely bring children here. Not so much wheelchair friendly as there are a couple steps inside. Although I'm sure you can manage somehow. There are plenty of places to park around the back there's a big lot that you can park in down the road or you can get lucky and get a spot in downtown Utica. The service was fantastic The burgers were cooked to perfection and drinks were ice cold what more could you ask for. I'm definitely recommending this place and we will definitely be back You can't beat it.

“Where do I even start! This is hands down, the premier cigar bar! I’ve gone to a few others and they don’t compare to DCs. Chris and Donny (owner) has done an incredible job. First off, the ventilation. On a packed night, the place isn’t even overly cloudy or smokey, great ventilation. Their humidor also offers a great selection of cigars at affordable prices. Next the food. Everything in the menu is top notch and other very affordable. The steak bites, deviled eggs, burgers, fries, everything, 5 out of 5. Now, the atmosphere, unlike any other cigar bar. It’s classy, looks good, clean, and always has a great mix in music and tv selection. They also have a hell of a drink selection, very impressive. Lastly, the staff. I’ve become a regular over the last six months and have had the pleasure to work with some of the best in the business. Sarah and Rheanna are amazing, they don’t get any better than these two! They’re friendly, treat you like they’ve known you for years, professional and know their business. Most would say they do this for the tips, they don’t. They do it because that’s just who they are, just friendly and sweet. Joe is also one hell of a guy! Everybody on the staff makes time for you. The moment you walk in, they greet you by name. They have an incredible staff, that’s what keeps you coming back. Thank you all for making this place a great spot to sit down and enjoy a night out, whether a date night, a guys night out or even just a solo night to grab a drink and a cigar! “I attended a bridal shower here. The venue was beautiful and clean. The food was excellent. The chef even came out to talk with people who had dietary restrictions and prepared them dishes they could eat using the ingredients he was using for the main menu. It was above and beyond, and I'm sure it was appreciated. Thank you for a beautiful event.“

“We live nearby but had never visited MacKenzie Tavern until recently. Glad we did! The food is quite good, especially when Yamin is in the kitchen. Pasta dishes are always on point. Good gyro, too. Domestic beer prices are among the best I can find. I've seen some reviews that describe the place as "a bit of a dive." And your point is? It's nothing fancy but neither am I. Try it. You'll like it.“

“We stopped in after a football game. We are not from the area but found this gem of a place. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Our server was
Bonny with a "y" cause she's Irish and was the absolute best. We had appetizers and a few beers. The food was great ..best fried pickle chips we have ever had and the egg rolls as well as the cheese curds. We will go back when we are on that side of town.“

“My son just had his 6th birthday party at DK Arcade and everything was fantastic! Everyone was extremely kind and accommodating! The kids and adults were able to have private access to the extensive collection of arcade games! The food was delicious and the chef let us pick exactly what the birthday boy wanted! Huge thank you to Derrick for helping us organize everything and Alex for being a fantastic waiter and everyone in between! We all had so much fun and the birthday boy said it was the best day ever! ❤️“

“Terrible service from the short blonde behind the bar! Went in with some friends and we were ignored the first fifteen or so minutes we were there. When she finally took our order, one of the drinks was made wrong and when my friend said something the same bartender had a bad attitude! First and last time we go there!“

“Been coming to Orleans for many years now, once ot twice a year on average nowadays. Food is always good, now this is not 5 star cuisine, but we've always enjoyed everything we've ordered, it's a bar with good food! Always served fresh and hot. Would definitely recommend the pretzel appetizer, get a few though! We also enjoy the burgers and pizza as well as their paninis. Service is typical of a bar that you are not a regular customer of. Our waitress was nice, everything came as ordered but that was the extent of it.
The atmosphere hasn't changed in years or ever for that matter lol. Nice little patio out front and garage doors that open in the summer time. Free parking, after 6pm weekdays and always free on weekends in the large public parking lot across the street. There is also a small parking lot behind the building but it fill fast. Definitely recommend! Also, they offer free pool during certain times, call to find out more!“

“I really enjoy the Mug Pub. Almost all of their dishes are great, but since they reopened after the fire, the portion sizes have noticeably shrunk. It could be a combination of factors like COVID and inflation, but it’s definitely something to note. They have a new dish called the hamburger steak, which is excellent—just watch out for the onions! I’m also a big fan of their wings. The drinks and atmosphere are very nice, and they have a lovely outdoor patio. It’s a great neighborhood bar with a decent menu, and the drinks are solid as well. The staff has always been nice and pleasant. There are tons of TVs for watching games, etc. For what it is, the food is generally above average, though a bit pricey for what you get. That said, I’d still recommend it.“

I've been in Mexico, have Mexican friends, and eat in Mexican restaurants at least 4 times a month. You will NOT find better than Aztecas in Macomb County. This place is even better than the establishments in Mexican town Detroit.“
