“Don’t let the run down appearance of this older shopping plaza dissuade you from checking it out. It’s not dirty, very chaotic. This reminds me of your typical bakery that you’d find in a city like Bangkok or Hong Kong. Once you cross that threshold the treasure box is displayed. The baked goods are great, decent prices, and different than a typical US or EU style bakery, however it leans closer to French. The baked goods here use non traditional ingredients, e.g. rice flour and render a different style which I personally recommend. Note the taste a clearly focused around the Asian taste palette. Try something different and might be as pleased as I. Lastly, I’ve never had anything stale and I’ve been going here for about 12 years now.“

“Came here with a friend for their holiday flight. I’d never heard of it, but what a hidden gem! The flavors of each coffee were really well done and balanced (not overly sweet!) and I even enjoyed the peppermint mocha which I’m not always the biggest mint fan.

The place itself is really cute so I look forward to see what other kinds of flights they’ll offer throughout the year.“

“I purchased a loaf of the Rye Bread from the Kroger in Troy and I’m all in. This is definitely some of the best rye bread that I’ve ever had with a nice chew on the crust and it was delicious straight out the bag making my deli sandwich and grilled making a patty melt.“

“I stopped in to grab a quick snack for breakfast this morning. Upon walking in I was just struck by the very cuteness of it all, the vibes were immaculate (as the kids say?). I ordered a coffee and a butter croissant. I LOVE a croissant, and always have high hopes - but more often than not I'm let down by an underwhelming bite. So, imagine my delight as I bit into the flakiest, most wonderfully textured pastry I've had in a very long time. The outside was crispy, virtually exploding like a tree struck by lightening (evidence provided of my shirt post-snack), and the inside was soft and perfectly chewy. It was a great way to start the day!“

“Unbelievably good. Obviously the pie is the star of the show. The flavors rotate, but the crust is always deliciously flaky with a perfectly seasoned, not-too-sweet filling. Don't miss out on the savory hand pie either!

Aside from the pies, everything else is also just really good. The other standouts for me are the savory bread pudding, the rosemary cookie, and the lemon poppyseed cookie, but everything behind the glass is phenomenal.

These sisters sure know how to bake. They're closing up their regular operation soon, but I'm optimistic that they'll find a new, more sustainable way to share their delicious baking with the community.“

Although they were out of a lot of bagel flavors, it gave me the chance to try something I wouldn’t have usually gotten so I got the Asiago bagel with the scallion cream cheese and babyyyyyy, it was SO GOOD! I got their plain cream cheese too in case I didn’t like the scallion one and even that one was good. It didn’t taste like your regular Philadelphia cream cheese. I will be back. Only thing I’d do differently is not get my bagel toasted, it made it kick of tough but other than that, 10/10“

When I was considering who to go through for our wedding cake, Mannino's was the obvious choice! I don't have very many photos since we are still waiting to get them back from the photographer. We ordered a small, 1-tier cake just for my husband and I to eat, and 170 cannoli for the rest of our wedding guests. We had half with chocolate chips, and half with nuts. They were a big hit and all of our Italian family members loved them! Our cake was delicious as well, and Lisa was very accommodating while we tried to figure out what flavor and fillings we wanted.“
