“Some of the best bites of food I've ever had!! I bit into the Vegetable Samosa and was instantly transported to a land of spice and flavor -I believe angels sang... The flavors were spicy and savory and it was cooked to crispy yet puffy perfection. Divine! I then ripped a gorgeous, juicy, brightly colored chunk of Tandoori Chicken off and the instant it hit my tastebuds the angels' chorus grew ever louder. Back to back two of the best tasting dishes I've had in as long as I can remember. Maybe ever. To tell you how good this was, I was watching a show when my food was delivered and literally had the show paused the entire time so I could focus on the savory deliciousness of this amazing cuisine. I never do that. Outstanding food - 5 bright and glowing stars!!!“
“We came to Ferndale for some bagels, but while parking we smelt the amazing smells of Indian cuisine. We instantly changed our minds and l’m so happy we did. The service was immaculate and the food was spectacular. The restaurant is very clean and beautifully decorated. I recommend the lamb tikka masala & garlic naan! So scrumptious!“
“2/18/2024: This place is only open on Thursday's now? What's going on? Love the food here as long as it's carry out. When dining in, the atmosphere is too quiet so everyone sitting around us can here our conversation - turn on some Indian music. Also, we can never seem to get the waiter to come back and bring us our check - then wait even longer for them to bring back my credit card.“
“Everything I had here was wonderful! To start, they brought out some sauces and pickled carrots that were very tasty and I enjoyed snacking on. For an appetizer, the mulligatawny soup was light and had balanced texture. I ordered the lamb dansak with aloo naan and they brought it out on a stand with a flame to keep it warm while I ate. After everything, they gave me some rice pudding with coconut on the house! It was quite sweet and was great end to my visit.Customer service was very engaged, with the waiter and folks from the kitchen checking in. The space was very clean and the table set up makes it feel like they take their space very seriously. A nice quiet meal ?“
“We came for the first time and it was actually one of the finest fast food in Michigan. Must try the veg hakka noodles.. has paneer in it and amazing taste. Must try the vada pav as well. If you are missing Indias fast food, then visit here. Great fast service and they have Indian fusion pastries as well. Eggless as well.“
“Honestly this place is worth the hype! First off the service is amazing, the man at the counter was so personable and kind. Secondly the food is fair priced and delicious! I got the lamb platter, should’ve got the lamb and chicken. My friend got the General Taos and we both agreed they were both so flavorful and a lot of food for the value. The mango lassi was not one to skip, like a mango yogurt. So creamy and delicious! Plus, they opened indoor seating so no more waiting outside on a cold day. Will be back for the party platters!“
“The food is here is very well made. You can tell it is made from scratch and made with fresh ingredients. Tanzilla our server was very accommodating and sweet. Don’t be steered away by the location, better than most restaurants in Birmingham.“
“The chicken Shawarma was so delicious everybody wanted a bite of it I had to share. The blueberry and kiwi bubble tea is so good and the service from Nora was just delightful this place is always my go-to when I come in from Montana. Don't believe the rumors of the Mall closing! Nostalgia abounds here. You all need to come into Lakeside Mall and visit Masala Grill! This restaurant never disappoints!“
“What. A. Vibe! The music was super chill piano mix with the TV’s playing sports. The lighting gives a nice ambient feel and everyone here is very kind and friendly.Sam walked us through the menu to help us find exactly what we were trying to eat.He checked in on us during our meal and made sure everything was perfect. The food was amazing too!“
“Everything was absolutely perfect!! The wait for the food was not long at all, everything came pretty quickly. The food and drinks were absolutely incredible. Some of the best foods I've ever had have come from this restaurant. Lastly, the staff were very kind!! We even got some complimentary rice pudding handmade by one of them, and it was delicious. Can't wait to come again! Thank you!! <33“

“Decided to try a new Indian restaurant and Red Chillies was on my radar. Peter, one of the owners, greeted us warmly and was very attentive to our questions about the menu and spiciness of the dishes. He explained that the sauces and everything was prepared fresh in his restaurant. I appreciated knowing that. He made suggestions for what to try so we had few appetizers: veggie samosa, gobi manjoorian and chicken 65. All were very tasty and I went with mild plus for spice. We tried the king fish, chicken tikka masala and chicken saag. The garlic naan was very good also. There was an unending bowl of rice… very plentiful. Definitely had left overs to take home. The food was very flavorful full with just a touch of spice. Peter was very friendly and made suggestions of food for future visits. Looking forward to trying a new dish next time I visit. will definitely return again and bring friends with me next time.“
“I’m gonna be truly honest here, I want to start up with the service and how not only professional, but very kind, generous and excellent at hosting.Secondly, I want to add that we got a huge portion of our orders And the food was amazing! Keep in mind we went there late. The server even gave us free sweets to try and appetizers Along with some amazing tea at no charge because it was our first time ! I am Middle Eastern and I know food so let’s just say I’m a foodieIf you want to go somewhere very affordable, chill vibe and try great authentic Bangladesh food, then come here! We had the butter chicken with white rice and naan Which they did not charge us for the naan as well, Let me just say that was the best naan I ever had extremely crispy, moist and don’t get me started on the shrimp fried rice. I am very picky and I’m a seafood eater mostly because I’m a Pescatarian so that would be a 10 out of 10 for me. I wish I had taken more photos but I definitely have to write this review because this was one of the best places to eat in Hamtramck/Detroit! Oh and all the food & everything only costed 26 DOLLARS!!!!!!!! Must try ???“
“Went to a brand new Indian restaurant tonight called masala junction. I met the owner Nitin Pradhan and his wife and there team. We had appetizers and dinner. Everything was excellent. They have veg and non veg items. It’s at 15 mile road and mound road in the plaza with the ups store. I highly suggest you check it out. We had a great experience“
“Hands down the best Pakistani food around! Ordered from them a few times and the food is consistently amazing - the kabobs especially are a hit every time! On top of that, the service is is wonderful and the owner is so kind and accommodating. Will definitely keep coming back!“
“This place has filled a void ever since Curry Express on 9 Mile and Ryan closed... never thought me and my lady would find Chicken Karai again but this place really exceeded all expectations. Had the Garlic Naan and it was easily the best naan we've ever tried.“
“Honest Restaurant in Troy is a hidden gem with exceptional food and attentive service. The menu offers a variety of tasty options that are cooked to perfection. The cozy atmosphere adds to the dining experience. A must-visit spot for a delightful meal in Troy!“
“Good Indian buffet option local to me. The food at the buffet was good, but it doesn't exceed some other close-by options in terms of taste, unfortunately. The buffet had good vegetarian and meat options, but didn't have any Naan for the first 20 minutes we were there, and some of the food was cold (1:00PM on a Sunday). Also, was slightly disappointed they didn't have any butter chicken. The hostess/waitress was very nice and the place was otherwise clean.“
“The food was delicious especially chicken afghan kabob. The best Thursday special mutton biryani I have had a long time, taste like a home cooked meal, I love this great food and restaurant atmosphere. Must try their buffet and daily specials. Best Indian food (and some of the best food period) in the area. Very attentive staff, able to accommodate dietary preferences. Looking forward to returning again and again. Every dish we ordered was excellent. Also was not too heavy or oily, which sometimes happens at Indian restaurants. Just overall excellent food. Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options. They also were able to accommodate vegans easily, and some of the vegetarian options are inherently vegan already Dietary restrictions: Accommodated vegan diners very well Just had Masala Dosa. One of the best Sambhars I've had in years. I was told it's their specialty and is Udipi Sambhar. The chutneys that came along with were quite fresh and different. I am pleasantly surprised. Clean facility, friendly staff and will definitely visit again.“
“Deshi Kitchen offers a tantalizing journey through Indian cuisine in Sterling Heights. As soon as you step inside, the aromatic embrace of Indian spices envelops you, setting the stage for a culinary adventure. While the food is undeniably superb, with flavors that dance on the palate, patrons should heed the advice to leave their Sunday best at home, unless they wish to carry the delightful essence of their meal with them long after they've left. With its combination of exceptional dishes and vibrant atmosphere, Deshi Kitchen is a must-visit destination for any lover of Indian cuisine in the area.“
“Ive ate here at least 5 times in the last month. Every time we go has been just as good as the first time. The food is always fresh and the prices are very reasonable. The meat samosas are my favorite appetizer but everything I’ve tried so far has been exceptional.“
“We were walking to another restaurant and as we were passing here we changed our plans and ate here and it was well worth the change. The food was fresh hot and portions were great. The service was friendly. No bad experience at all… I will be making this a regular stop with family and “
“Very lovely staff here and the food was great. Best fries and samosas! ? I would recommend this place to anyone looking for food near the Majestic Theatre.Vegetarian options: Several vegan options including samosas, Chana masala, noodles, and falafel pita wrap“
“My boyfriend and I visited for the first time on a Friday early evening. We decided to eat inside since it wasn’t busy. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly! We ordered paneer pekora, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and chicken tikka biryani. We could hear our food cooking, and it came out so fresh and hot! All items were absolutely delicious, and the portions were large enough to take home leftovers. We were even brought two pieces of gulab jamun to try for free! Prices are very reasonable as well. We will definitely be back, this will be our new regular take-out place!“
“Had an amazing experience at Charminar Express,I had their butter chicken, pakora..Was soo good.. Their service are very friendly.. Mainly the girl has really good patients, I asked a lot questions but she suggested the best thing. She explained all off the food items with different quality style. Also their environment is really very good. Highly recommend for anyone. Will be back ..?“
“Great, inexpensive food in the basement of the International Institute, adjacent to the Detroit Institute of Arts and the College for Creative Studies. A family-run operation with a mix of Indian, Lebanese and U.S. American options. Servers are kind and attentive. I special-orderd chicken-curry atop a salad (to avoid the carbs in rice) and loved it. Nothing fancy, but an excellent place for a good, quick lunch.“
“Everything we had here was incredible: beef curry noodles, butter chicken over fries, pork belly with bok choy. All of it was great. There's a a bar upstairs with mostly beer, but also some wine, cider, and whiskey options. Then above that is rooftop seating that overlooks Easter Market.I'll definite back here.“
“Bismillah Restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience with its rich blend of flavors. Friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere. Standouts include the aromatic biryani and flavorful kebabs. Overall, a satisfying dining destination for those seeking authentic Bangladeshi cuisine.“
“I really like this place!! Had the Butter chicken with garlic Naan and it was absolutely delicious!!! Very good and efficient service. Food came quickly and was nice and hot and so tasty. When you walk in...the fantastic smell just surrounds you and I mean that in a good way. Definitely will be back!!“
“I visit usually for the weekend buffet.. been a fan of this restaurant for years… best items are the chicken biryani/ hot tandoori chicken and bread (my signature items)..I love this restaurant by all means but here are my negative remarks:1. one think I can’t stand is that some food items are best when served “hot” and “warm” wouldn’t be enough to enjoy (Dal tadka)2 when I as for a second round of chicken (main item I live at this place), this one guy gets me one piece instead of the normal 2 usually served.. you should either ask me and not assume I can ONLY handle one more piece.. you should show generosity to keep your customers happier.. it doesn’t hurt to ask.. because i would end up asking for more… charge me more but don’t be stingy on my beloved tandoori chicken (it was the waiter with the glasses).3. Salt also tasted salty and sweet at the same time.. wouldn’t order again..4. Noticed a small change on the food selection, I would charge more and put finer food selection (customers would be willing to pay). Thanks and regards“
“This is hidden away in a strip mall so it is very hard to see. We found it by chance and decided to give it a try. WOW! The food was absolutely fantastic. My son fell in love with his butter chicken and my chicken tandoori was soo good. We also liked the samosas as well. What a great find, we will be back!“
“I love this place...my favorite indian restaurant out of several ive tried....the curry dishes are very good...i get the chicken and the veggie curry ...so good together....with the rice and naan.....if your a chicken lover you gotta get the chicken tikkia its one of the sizzeler plates its delicious...all the appetizers are yummy with their special sauces....the people that wait on you are just so nice and make sure you got everything you want and need...just go you will love it“
“I recently dined at this delightful restaurant that offers a unique twist on desi cuisine with their fusion dishes. The blend of flavors was absolutely exquisite, and I was pleasantly surprised by the creativity in each dish. What truly set this place apart, though, was their exceptional customer service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. From recommendations to prompt service, they made us feel truly valued.Overall, if you're looking for a memorable culinary adventure with a blend of desi flavors and outstanding customer service, this restaurant is a must-visit!Dietary restrictions: Everything is halal!“
“This is our go to place for well seasoned northern Indian food. Spice levels are a little unpredictable but the flavoring is always great. We used to eat in but since the pandemic it seems like this has turned into a take out venue. Even when you do sit down it's counter ordering. . Don't miss the samosa specials - great deal on carry out. We generally get extra food so we can enjoy the leftovers.“
