“Party of four had dinner there on July 4, 2025. Food was good, but not as advertised on the menu. The apple salad was small and did not have candied walnuts on it and the nachos had no cheese on them. The 1/2 ribs that my husband ordered were tasty, but we ended up ordering cheesy fries after our meals because we were still hungry. The ribs came with coleslaw and nothing else.The server was friendly and efficient.”

“On a cold and snowy winter night, our meals at Funistrada were excellent! My wife had the Angel Hair Carsoni with chicken and I had the tortellini with cream sauce. Both dishes were wonderful!”

My 83 year old Mother said Polish Countryside Kitchen was THE BEST Polish food she has had since her family dinners in Chicago as a child. (Said the Polish sausage was The Best EVER!) She’s a hard critic to please, nice job! We will make the drive up again.”

“We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner at Nonna’s. The surf and turf were very good. The beet salad, filet and the scallops were very good as well as the presentation and service. It is very convenient to have dinner at Nonna’s and not have to drive on New Years Eve.”

“We are from out of state and just visited Sonoma and Anderson Valley California wine country last month. Hands down, I would choose those region due to welcoming and educational staff. Their wine was also of the same quality. We went in late fall and the scenery was stunning. Loraine and Phil and Bel Lago could not have been more accommodating and provided much information beyond just their winery. I should note, we visited 10 wineries and this was tops. I will say, we went to one of their sister locations (French Valley) and their level
Of service wasn’t exactly as good.”

“I discovered GLTS on an annual trip to Leelanau Peninsula. First thing I bought was the Tuscan Blend. The next two years, made sure to go back and get more. This year, added some tea to my purchase. The Sweatwater Vanilla is amazing and the Orange Cream Vanilla is right along side. Bought Sunburst Ginger as a gift, and the recipient let me know she loved it. The owner is a delightful person to talk with, so if you get a chance, make sure to visit. If you can't go, definitely check out the online order option. GLTS will continue to be a stop on my annual trip.”

“We love the nostalgia of this place the decor has a classic up north feel. We have brought our kids here for dinner a few times this past year and they have loved the burgers and pizza! The service and staff are always welcoming and make us feel like we are part of a family every time we come. My favorite is the perch, I personally live the way they prepare it with just a light dusting of batter.”

“Excellent food. Filet Mignon was succulent . Tuna Steak was perfect. NY Strip was delicious. Tonja provided superb service. It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for and it was well worth it for such great service and wonderful food. It was my husband and girlfriends birthday and you really made the night. “Nice place. They had live music and several tvs to watch sports. Bar tender was working hard, but the place was packed and understaffed. He received a nice tip and we bussed a table so we had a place to watch the entertainment. We did not eat so could not rate food.”

“We were treated like royalty here. My two friends had two wine samplers and had a glass of wine. I had the cherry lime soda and cherry cream soda and a sampling of cherry pie ice cream. We shared a plate of their fantastic French fries served with the hoppy beer cheese sauce and all agreed the fries were perfectly seasoned and the cheese sauce positively drinkable. Bella and Chef spoiled us. I can hardly wait for my next trip up from Detroit to try more! Thank you for your hospitality!!”
