“Truest the best spot in town for great food and friendly folks! I loved the Coney Island, dog, the ham and cheese sandwich… And of course the western omelette with a side of corned beef hash! The wait staff is friendly and doting, and the food never disappoints! We have been in town for a week and eating here three times… Definitely a gem in Saint Clair!“

“We were passing through the area by boat, so stopped in the Chuck’s Roadhouse for dinner. We were on the water all day and very hungry. There was nobody to greet us or seat us, so we found a booth ourselves. It appeared to be very few staff, so we thought about leaving. However a friendly waitress found us and brought menus. I ordered a 1/2 rack of ribs and my wife the chicken burger. The wait was very long for the food- approximately 40 min. When my order of ribs arrived I thought there was a mistake and they brought me something else! The ribs were the smallest I have ever seen. I counted the bones and it was indeed a 1/2 rack. The pig must have been the size of a house cat and very skinny. Maybe Chucks buys their ribs from the same farm that raises the Kentucky Fried chicken hens in 9 days!
Anyway, they did taste good, but after my meal I was still starving.“

“Saturday, June 28th we were on our way by boat to Port o call for lunch. On our way we lost an engine. We idled to AHC on one engine with no power steering. The gents working harbor master were very helpful with getting us docked in a transient slip. I paid for one night while I decided what to do with my mechanical issue and after a few hours decided to have tow boat tow my boat back to my home in Harrison twp. I let the harbor masters know I would not be staying the night- i did not ask for any credit but they went out of their way to off up a partial refund. I thought that was the cherry on top of their already excellent customer service. Thanks again and cant wait to come back!“
