“Big shout out and Thank you to the great staff at White Rhino. The manager /bartender, waitress, and chef, showed out and made things happen, on one of the worse summer storms ever. All around every where was flooded. And instead of closing up and going home. The staff was very accommodating, from the moment me and my family walked in the door. “Absolutely 100% recommend Nemo’s! We’re here for tigers opening day and I am breastpumping. I asked if they had a room I could pump, although they didn’t have a secluded area for me, they let me pump in this back area. Thankfully I had a wearable pump so you can’t see anything but one of the bartenders brought me a water & a hotdog and was just the sweetest man. Truly thankful for their hospitality! So very sweet! Above and beyond!“

“Never missed a St. Patty's Day Celebration yet. Going on 20 years. On the Historic Registry. Live music on the weekends. Friendly people all around. Every now and then, you'll see the original owner Nancy having a drink with old friends. Great history, great city and sports.

“My son and I stopped for a beer last Saturday afternoon. We were the only people there. Mary sat with us and gave us a detailed history of the place—which I’m sure she’s done hundreds of times. She is so nice. Loved the place. Stroh’s beer are very inexpensive, too. No food but Mary recommended another bar for lunch in nearby Hamtramck, which turned out to be a great place. There are a few parking spots behind the bar, otherwise it’s street parking.“

“I love the vibe created here. Last time I came was during Movement and it was so packed everyone was standing outside, which wasn’t for me. But I’m glad to have visited again so soon. I would definitely recommend getting a sorrel drink while you are there. They also have a great selection of wines most time. I always enjoy catching a DJ set while I’m there. I’m gonna bring my vinyls next time to see if I can sneak on for a 30 minute set.“

“It was our first time here, and we were not disappointed. The whole aesthetic was great, and all the posters, wall hangings, and art were awesome. It shows they've put on a lot of shows as they have a whole system down so we could get in quickly. The staff was very friendly and made great jack & cokes. I was also very pleased we had inadvertently discovered another pro-woman, pro-LGTBQ+ business. We had an excellent time, and we will be back“

“Hands down, my absolute FAVORITE BAR in the Detroit Metro area. August the bartender is one of the coolest people you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting and knows how to pour a damn good drink. “Best and most famous dive bar in Detroit. This place has been family owned for 100 years. It's very welcoming to whoever shows up. Straight, Gay, young, old weird or cool everyone hangs out here! No food besides chips. Its a block away from Little Caesar's Arena and across the street from The Masonic Temple (hence the name) so its perfect for a pre or post show round or two. “Biergarten is one of our favorite local places! This year they saved my fiancé’s 30th birthday when another local bar could no longer accommodate us last minute. I called the day before in a panic and the owner called her workers to come in a little early, helped me coordinate everything with food, and just went above and beyond to make sure everything was great.
