Evies is very nondescript but the food is very good. Chips and salsa are delicious as an appetizer while waiting for your order. When dinner /lunch is over, the wait staff brings a large platter with various cookies as a complimentary free desert.“

“After Opening Day at the Tigers game, I headed to Southwest Detroit to try a new taco truck. I came across El Parian #3 on Vernor and struck gold. I had the chicken burrito with all the ingredients. The tortilla was perfectly chewy and was filled with chicken, jalapeños, cheese, rice, and sour cream. It came with chips and two kinds of salsa. Delicisoso. I’ll definitely go back for more.“

“Hands down best steak taco/burrito I've ever eaten. It's worth venturing to. It's pretty inexpensive too. Spanish is spoken and cash only. It's easy to miss because it's in the parking lot behind tall fences that say farmers market right on the corner of Livernois and Toledo street.“

“I normally don’t write reviews, but after just spending money on a take out order that they didn’t include the chips I ordered then said that I didn’t order them, which I did because I ordered a large mild salsa. Why would I do that? so the manager , Sam, told me I could come back to the restaurant, but he would have to charge me for the chips that they made a mistake on. And even worse was, I had to wait for them to make my tostada, and when I got it home, the cheese was not even melted. It was just placed on top of the beef with no tomato or lettuce and the cheese on the burritos was cold and like rubber. I Will not go back there. The food and service was terrible.“

Sergio and sister Yolanda run the place along with help from three kids. Jalisco Mexico the hometown via Sw Detroit has marvelous Authentic Mexican meals and Booze too. My favorite Al Pastor Tacos 😋 rule, I'm addicted have them once per month. I have them add Sauteed Onions and Jalapeno for a Xtra kicker, with fabulous Salsa Verde. She had the Chicken Tacos 😋, we shared a outstanding Steak Fries. Those fries one of the very best ever Eaten, plenty for 3 or more to share.
