I come for the vegan options so I don’t have to worry about my food allergies, but my family has enjoyed the non-vegan options as well. “This place is awesome. The service is incredible. But the food was even better! The interior of it takes you back to a simpler time. Family owned and operated. The server was the sister of the cook. The coney dogs didn’t stand a chance. Fries were so crunchy and delicious. While there, the folks sitting to the left of me ordered breakfast. “The pizza is AMAZING! I think I can easily say this is the best Detroit style pizza I have ever had. I first discovered them at pop up they had near Campus Martius, but finally got to go to their new home on Holden. The interior is pretty small, so not best for big groups but a date night or for a party of two is just fine. I wish it was closer to me so I could get take out. We got the Packard Pepperoni and the Mclovin pizza. Both were excellent, I loved the origniality of the Mclovin which was a nod to like a big mac. Anytime I can go again, I definitely will be. Check out this gem if you want to really know what Detroit style pizza is like.“

The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. Turn to the left and you have the beautifully landscaped Roosevelt park to stroll through after enjoying the back porch. I’m so blown away, and so happy my friend finally got me here! Stephen came to meet us and was essential in making sure we had “Polish, double smoked kielbasa “ for the event. It should be on the menu full time! Everything was delicious and fresh.
The Alabama white pulled chicken, pulled pork, pretzels, smoked meats charcuterie board, fresh fruit, double smoked Kielbasa ( so darn delicious) and the Kale Cesar salad.. all finished off by our Family and guests. Everyone loved the beer selection, the food and the vibe at Batch!
We have always been supporters of Batch Brewery, now we feel like they are part of the Family.

“I have gone to the Whitney every year for Christmas dinner. It was annual holidays to celebrate with my nieces. Last Christmas holiday we chose to take the buffet. I was extremely disappointed. All I wanted was prime rib. The server was not very friendly. She stared at me and I was very uncomfortable when I asked for the prime rib only. There was just a small end piece and she gave me a very thin slice close resembling lunch meat. I don’t understand since I paid for a complete meal and it wasn’t cheap. I could’ve gone somewhere else and had a wonderful prime rib dinner. The au jous was not warm, so that was very disappointing. I will never do the buffet again if it’s like last year. In previous years, I’ve attended the buffet and it was outstanding.“

“The absolute most perfect polish meal. My Aunt and I teared up when we got our plates and started eating, it brought us right back to growing up with our Polish grandmother/mother!!

The food was cooked perfectly. The flavors were incredible, the food was visually pleasing as well. It checked all the marks, there wasn’t one item we didn’t LOVE.
The service was so very thorough and attentive, as well. Absolutely wonderful experience. I drive an hour and twenty minutes out 2/3 times a year to come here.“
