You’ll be dazzled by the large selection of craft cocktails—that’s a view in it self! It tends to get crowded quick, so calling ahead or beating the crown is suggested but it’s sooo worth it. “We really enjoyed it here. We usually go to Polish Village Cafe, but this time, went to Pelonia instead. It was a bit difficult to get through the door with a wheelchair, but definitely easier than PVC. The food was very good, though we thought the stuffed cabbage was better at PVC. Overall, a great experience for a big group. It wasn't as cramped as it would have been at PVC either. We will be back.“

“The pizza was so good my boyfriend and I came here twice during our week stay in detroit. The edges are crisped to perfection! And you can tell all the ingredients used are fresh. Highly recommend the Packard pepperoni, perfect amount of spicy and sweet. The pizzas are large enough to share and you have the option to do half and half. The only con is there isn’t a ton of seating so you might end up waiting for a table but it's well worth the wait.“

I decided to skip cooking this year, and I’m so glad I did. I discovered Veganly Essential with Vegan Chef Kameal Paree' by a random vegan restaurant Google search, and ordered her Party of 1 Thanksgiving Meal — and wow, it did not disappoint!

The meal came with crispy oyster mushrooms, smoked greens, sweet potatoes, creamy vegan dressing, vegan mac, a cornbread muffin, cranberry sauce, gravy, barbecue sauce…plus a slice of vegan sweet potato pie and lavender lemonade. It was honestly enough to share, and everything tasted amazing.

My absolute favorite? Those crispy oyster mushrooms! They were perfectly seasoned and truly crispy.

“Visited here because it was open late. Got myself a latte with oat milk, which was extremely good, but notice that they also sold Acai Bowls. I decided to order one. Acai bowls are known to be a little expensive, but this one wasn't too bad. Not only that, but this was probably the best and freshest Acai Bowls that I've ever ordered from anywhere. Not to mention the portion size that coincided with the price. I will definitely be coming back to try all the different kinds that they have.“

“Was traveling for a conference and someone recommended this place and I’m so glad I stopped in. Short walk from many nearby hotels. The food is absolutely beautiful and there were pastries and desserts I’d never seen or heard of and I’ve been to a TON of French bakeries. This place takes it to the next level. I even had to make another transaction after I tried a piece of the mozzarella and Zatar bread loaf because it was that good. What made the experience even better was that the worker suggested the substitution in a non-pushy, helpful manner which aided the problem-solving portion of my ordering.
