The quiche is always terrific, again it doesn't matter which one you get. My go to is the BLT but I switch it the mayo for mustard. Great place for lunch and a slice of pie!“

“Whoever is responsible for hiring at this location is on point, this is not only the best staffed Biggby but quite possibly the best staffed coffee shop in the world in general! Super friendly and exceptionally helpful with ordering and explaining items. Always smiles on the faces of these wonderfully helpful people. I would come here all the time but the overall vibe of the place (staff excluded) leaves a bit to be desired.Indoor color scheme is jarring, outside looks like it could use a face lift, but the drive through is pretty great and, again, the staff keep it moving quickly while still assuring quality of product delivered to drivers. I love their little tip jar themes, even if I wasn't a tipper and/or didn't love the staff here, I would still put a little sumpin sumpin in there for creativity alone.Sadly, through no fault of staff, this place gets 1 star for atmosphere and a deduction from an otherwise overall 5 star rating because although I can imagine worse places, this could be so much more inviting and comfortable. Why maintain a dining area that no one wants to sit in? I need to be in town from out of state for an extended period for personal and family reasons and find myself in need of a place to work remotely for the time. Instead of coming here for it's much more convenient location, friendly staff, and great menu, I instead go all the way to Panera almost daily and have joined their drink membership program ONLY because they don't have music blasting out of a music system that is in serious need of an upgrade. Seriously, this is the only reason! Seems like an easy enough fix. Someone please get this awesome staff (and me!) a decent speaker/sound system installed it sounds like listening to old cassettes from the inside of a my high school boyfriend's hand-me-down Chevy from 1980, there's only so much I can take of it :( Will amend rating when I see some much needed upgrade action, don't be slumlords!“

“Amazing experience. The hubby and I thought we were just stopping for a coffee and dessert until CuCu made the experience delightful and went above and beyond. Their coffee was delicious and the caramel espresso dessert was top notch. We will definitely be back and recommend this place to everyone.“

“I had read about this place when looking for places not far from MSU and thought it sounded interesting. I've never tried Turkish food and it was amazing. I met up with my daughter and 2 of her friends and all of us liked all of our lunches. I also got a piece of Baklava to go and it was amazing. The Turkish tea was amazing also. “I was helped by a blonde cashier, who was super friendly, and greeted me with an enthusiastic. Happy Monday! The service was wonderful. I ordered a mango smoothie, there was a miscommunication about having the cream on top, and they were so helpful in getting me a new one. It may have been my fault because my hearing is not the best. Regardless, they were very friendly and accommodating. My mother who used to have her own bakery, and is now retired, is quite a baked goods snob. In a good way. She loved the three different desserts I had her try. She usually doesn't like anyone's baked goods, but her own, but I could tell she absolutely loved the crêpe cake, the strawberry shortcake cup, and the dark chocolate cheesecake.The baked goods were so good, I went back later this evening, to get a mango slush, made with real fruit, and two other baked goods.“

“This is a lovely place! Unique menu items, great flavors, nice portions and great service. Went to another restaurant but they had water main issues so they recommended the soup spoon cafe. I fell in love. Went back again to take my boyfriend out to breakfast and I knew he wouldn’t be disappointed. I was right! He love it as well. No doubt, it will become a regular spot from now on!“

“We've tried many tea places in East Lansing, but this is our favorite! The tea tastes so much better than other places, and they offer a good variety of products and flavors on the menu. “Awesome food wonderful Asian cuisine with a new Asian food experience for my family and I. Very large sharable portions and nothing was over $18.50; Most items were priced between $10-$15.The only minor mishap we had was our waiter did not speak hardly any English so our questions could not be answered about the new foods we wanted to try. “I went here for the first time today and was blown away. To start, the staff was so friendly (shoutout Lesley and Chloe). Since it was my first time, they gave me suggestions based of my dietary restrictions (vegetarian) and my taste of coffee (sweeter). I got the Greek wrap without the chicken and added avocado based on Lesley's recommendation. It tasted great. Chloe suggested the Smores latte and it was exactly what I wanted. I sat in the Cafe for some time on my laptop (they offer wifi :)) and Chloe and Lesley were so friendly. They also had multiple regulars come in during this time and they remembered their orders; they clearly had built relationships with these customers.“

“A Recent visit after many months away from area. The restaurant was very busy on a wknd. We had a typical, eggs, sausage, toast, and hashbrown potatoes. With coffee. Service was pleasant and very efficient. This place brings an insulated pitcher of coffee. For abt 4 cup refills. There were abt 4 servers. All appeared very efficient. The restrooms were clean, at this late in the morning time. Lots of free prkng. Very modest pricing. Highly recommend Fernando's Café. Update March '24. Late morning wknd visit. Place was totally full at 1pm. Were able to get a table rite away. Order taken, food served very timely, food prepared as requested. Excellent service. Restrooms in good shape during a busy period. “My wife and I often stop on weekends before our grandkid’s hockey games up the road off Hannah. It can be very busy or totally dead in here but the staff is usually quick to get our coffee/chai tea orders prepared. No drive through option here but parking is usually available right out front. Just need to be careful backing out.Parking: Parking spots are a bit tight especially in snowy weather.“

“Let me preface this with the fact that I travel all over the state of Michigan for my job. I swing into coffee shops all the time when I’m on the road and give employees of coffee shops and cafes the opportunity to make whatever they want and have creative freedom. I’ve swing into this location a couple of different times but the last two times I’ve been here have prompted me to make a review. The barista Josh know how to make a coffee. It was a mocha cold brew with white chocolate and mint. It was so good I thought about it periodically throughout the week until I was back into Lansing for the day. The customer service of this store is amazing too, Sophia is who I talked two the last two times I visited. this is a store with two highly rated employees. These two definitely deserve recognition for the quality of work they carry out.“

“I've been stopping in here for 4 years now. I pass 2 Biggbys and a Starbucks, but I've always stayed loyal to this branch. Staff are always in a great mood, positive vibe in the store too. Always clean and I don't think they've ever been out of a drink I've asked for either. While the faces have changed a little in my time visiting here,the new ones are always just as kind and sincere as the last. I also visit this one mostly upon open,but am known to stop in at random times during the day if I need an extra " fix " to get me home.“

“Went here for a night out in the beautiful EL and was served by Ella. She went above and beyond by continually providing prompt service always with a smile on her face. Even when my close colleague was lying on the floor she continued to provide great assistance by gathering both waters and mozzarella sticks (10/10) for him. I have since chosen her as my godmother for my 2nd oldest and she has continued to provide amazing service for us all!“

“I ordered a vegan burger and a berry berry bowl. Oh my goodness, it was so magnificent. My burger came with a spear pickle which was delish and some natural potatoes chips. The bowl was absolutely impressive, it was a large portion as well. Bravo to this place!!“
