“My family grew up here on the lake. It has changed so much through the years. Since my husband & I moved here a few months ago we have made China Express a part of our weekly meal plan. We both have our favorites, however we keep trying a new selection each week so we can try everything on the menu. I'm not exaggerating when I say Every Dish has been so delicious. We are so happy to have such talented chefs as part of our neighborhood. We Love you guys!“

“Absolutely love this place! I visit every time I'm in East Lansing to see my son at MSU. If we don't dine in I ALWAYS stop to take food to go to take home for later. Love all of the choices. One of my favorites are the jumbo chicken wings!! Wish this place had a location over by me in Troy!!“

“Though my food and waitress were not outstanding, what was outstanding was the manager at this location. Not only did he come over to deliver my drink and show us a cool trick, but he kept checking on us throughout the meal and went out of his way to ensure our satisfaction. Would come back just because of him.“

“I don't know where I should start but I been here for three days straight and I had been order three different dish. All of them are really good. I do recommend their curry rice dish. Second is their pork wonton noodles soup. I wish I can come back here next day to make four day stright...but unfortunately we got head back to Chicago soon.“

I had their eggplant in garlic sauce but also had a chance to taste the orange chicken and Mongolian beef, which were also amazing. Service was fantastic and really fast. “This is a little more of a take out restaurant. There is only one table to sit at. We hadn't seen this restaurant advertised, just stopped in because we wanted Chinese. The menu is huge, the cook came out and asked if we needed anything and made sure we were happy with our purchase. I had the sweet and sour chicken, my husband had shrimp Lo Mein. The dishes were excellent. This is definitely a restaurant that we will go to again.“

“Wow!!! Over the top good!! I ordered the #3 combo, Chicken Chop Suey with bean sprouts, AWESOME. American Chinese style food is not just about the taste but texture too, everything exceeded my expectations. Ordered in store, not over phone, about 5PM.

The egg roll was perfect, crispy shell, innards crunchy and had great taste, and NOT greasy, not a drop of oil to be had.
The vegetables in the entree were wonderfully crisp yet tender, fresh, had perfect color, had full flavor ( I could taste each flavor separately), not over cooked, and a delight to crunch. The chicken was tender and almost melted on my mouth. The sauce complimented the Pork fried rice very well and was not overpowering.
I can't wait to have my leftovers for lunch tomorrow ( we all KNOW how good Chinese style leftovers are). Thanks for a great meal, reminded me of Wo Hop's, #17 Mott Street.“

“You really gotta try it!! This is one of my favorite restaurants in the US; every time I order, I got those juicy meat balls, ribs, and pork belly; you haven’t experienced bliss before, wait until they melt in your mouth.

They come in big portions at reasonable prices, the re are only two person working in the shop, but what they deliver is not something to dismiss.

I haven’t tried the English menu so I can’t really comment on that, but my friends like the rice noodles, fried rice, and sweet & sour chicken.“

“Generally speaking, the food at Chen's is very good. I particularly enjoy their shrimp egg foo young and their fried wontons. Portions are a good size, and the cooks are conscientious of allergy concerns. My out-of-town friends like Chen's food, and this is where it becomes embarrassing. The restaurant interior is absolutely filthy - it is downright gross. For such a successful restaurant, there is absolutely no need for this. Indeed, the Health Department should be notified. This is a family business. The teen waitresses could use a tip in friendliness and manners, as well.“

“Our family has ordered from Asian Gourmet several times, sometimes for 6-8 people, and the staff consistently gets the orders correct. They are always nice when we pick up, and have offered to help carry larger orders to the car. There are many menu options to choose from and the food is always good. The place is lot much to look at, but this is not a sit-down restaurant.“

“Purchased Hunan Chicken and General Tso chicken. They both had good flavor, the General Tso was cold though. The fried rice and Hunan Chicken were warm. Service was quick as usual. Booths are smaller and good for 2 people or maybe an adult and smaller kid on each side.“

“I used to be a regular at this place when my office was just a mile away. I probably have not eaten here in 8 to 10 years. My go to dish was always Mongolian beef. I had it again and it was still as delicious as I remembered it. I'm not wild about the rice, and did not eat much of it. The main dish did not skimp on meat, which was good.“

I don’t even care which entree it is, if Izaiah or anyone else who cooks back there just got done making it fresh, I’m absolutely loving it. Seriously, the location gets enough traffic during main meal times that the food is usually poppin off hot. It’s soooo good. Always clean, a beautiful view of campus, plenty of sunshine through the windows. Eat here, get whatever is fresh, and enjoy.“
