“I like this subway because it's in a gas station and they open at 7 am. It's a really nice change for people who are just getting off work and don't want breakfast and it's just cool to be able to get a sandwich fresh in the morning for what ever reason. They are pretty friendly I only have 3 stars because of one person who is there but she doesn't seem to work often but she is just not very friendly besides that it's a gray place“

“My favorite cold sub is the #9 Club Supreme. And in the hot subs, the #15 Meatball and #18 Chicken parm are really good. They do a really great job and the "Mike's Way" with the oil and spices creates a flavor I don't get anywhere else.“

“Visited twice, once months ago and once today. Wow! What a great sub! Yeah I am not fond of a sub costing $15 like the giant italian does but wow is it worth it! I mean the staff politeness was awesome (including in store safety virus protocols)! Then the sub was over the top again. Freshest bread anywhere, perfect red tomatoes, crisp lettuce, fresh sliced meat, spices...just delicious! Again, the staff here was great! I wish I knew the name of the African American gentleman that greeted me and I think was in charge. I witnessed his door greetings to other customers and he really has that "personal touch" with people. I think I need to eat here at least 1-2 times a week for now on. My wife already told me we need to focus on them vrs the other alternative sub restaurants. I think she is right!“

The owner is fully in the trenches with the other employees and seems to genuinely care about the integrity of the service and the food, by far the best location I have visited. Despite misinformation provided by other patrons the prices are comparable to most other locations and competitors and to be expected in the current market. I will absolutely be a repeat customer.“

“My favorite sub is the Italian and Jersey Mike's is the BEST I've ever eaten. The meat is really high quality and the ham is especially very flavorful. The first time I ever got one, I was astonished at the amount of meat they put on them...I couldn't hardly bite into it, lol. “I have gotten Firehouse catered for several meetings and a very large event. Sunny and Rita are always so great and accommodating, as well as on time when I get the catering delivered. Everytime I have ordered I get outstanding service, great communication, and our staff always loves the subs. This is also one of the only places I know with gluten free bread that is actually good. Highly recommend for lunch or a catering!“

The food always get to you nice and hot and ready to eat. This location is my favorite one and I recommend going there any chance you get.“

I have my twins in the backseat I was gonna share half my sandwich with them not only did the woman who helped us cut an individual piece for them, but she also made sure I got a piece of some cookie and even gave them their own cups of water. “Love your sandwiches and I get them at least once a week! But so disappointed today :(. Drive to my normal location on hall and Hayes and found out they were closed for remodeling. So drove to Macomb location. I normally pay close attention while subs are made to correct issues but today I was getting pushed into paying before my subs were made. Sadly I got home and it was wrong :(. Ordered three subs total. 2 of three were not what was requested. ie wrong bread, missing mikes way dressing etc. one of the kids subs was completely smashed. it was obvious new employees were working and I’m not totally blaming them. Moving forward I will make sure I watch my sandwiches being made and wont get rushed to the register. I paid a lot for these sandwiches and expect to get what I ordered.“

You guys have one person always working. What happens if they can not use the restroom?? What happens if someone comes in and threatens the employee? Where is the manager? Why can the manager not staff this location properly? That is their job. Why is the manager not working and covering shifts? I am very disappointed in whoever manages this location. “Tubby's is #1 for taste & quality of ingredients, in my opinion! I was employed by the company from 1980 thru 85 and let me tell you, the owners of Tubby's are like family. My boss, one of the owners, Mr. Tom Paganes, was a wonderful owner to work for!Mr. Tom Paganes gave me a personal loan to buy a car that I wanted and I did not have established credit to purchase. There was no payroll deduction back then and he loaned me the money I needed to buy this car! I have the up most respect for the Tubby's company because of how they treat thier employees! When it's slow theyre not standing around they're cleaning, sweeping floors, prepping food, changing trash bags, filling the ice in the vending machine, cleaning bathrooms. “Amazing service. I stopped in after golf league first time there. I watched the person making my sub in true amazement. She was so organized, friendly, and professional, I could tell this person really cares about what she is doing. What a refreshing change from service you get these days.
I found out her name is Christine. She runs the best subway. By far the cleanest restaurant I have ever been in.
I will be driving past 10 subways to come to this location from my home.
I also think I have a new after golf routine.

“Tubby’s always has good food. The service was above and beyond though. I had a large party order and showed up early for pick up. The Tubby’s team accommodated me, even though I was early, and were very cognizant of my event (food going to multiple locations). They packed all my food to make it easier for me to deliver to all my locations. It wasn’t something they had to do, but it was so appreciated. I’ll certainly go back again, personally, but also use them for future corporate events because they were so helpful and caring. This sort of personal service seems harder to find these days; it set them apart from many other local sandwich shops.“

“I haven't been to this place in years because I went vegetarian but I randomly got the taste for the Tubby's dressing today (it is a delicious dressing) and chose to give the hot stir fried veggie sub a try. I am both delighted and upset by how much I enjoyed it. xD It reminded me of when I used to get the mushroom, steak, and cheese sub (which I would recommend to the meat eaters). The people working there were also super nice! I will be wanting to return here soon!
