I have been coming here for years, and come here for a reason - I’m picky. The owner is usually here and he’s pretty cool to talk to. I was reading the reviews and some of them are CLEARLY mixing this subway with the subway further north on Harper, near 15 mile, in Clinton township. Although just a couple miles apart, they are 2 different subways with totally different vibes. By confusing the two locations, it’s giving this (hidden gem IMO) location bad ratings. I’ve never had any issue here, they’re fast, super friendly and the place is very clean.“

“The place was busy as it was lunch time. I ordered 2 large subs. One a chicken and cheddar, the other a mushroom steak and cheese. The staff was friendly and the store very clean. No problems with the subs. However the young lady who was taking the orders and ringing them up, never changed her gloves when she returned to the kitchen to help..“

“I saw this place on Instagram. I called in my order which is the same wherever i go~corned beef on rye lean with extra swiss not toasted. The total was just under $14. It was wonderful and exactly how I ordered it. My whole experience from ordering to picking up was gr8t. I'll definitely return.“

“My favorite cold sub is the #9 Club Supreme. And in the hot subs, the #15 Meatball and #18 Chicken parm are really good. They do a really great job and the "Mike's Way" with the oil and spices creates a flavor I don't get anywhere else.“

“Visited twice, once months ago and once today. Wow! What a great sub! Yeah I am not fond of a sub costing $15 like the giant italian does but wow is it worth it! I mean the staff politeness was awesome (including in store safety virus protocols)! Then the sub was over the top again. Freshest bread anywhere, perfect red tomatoes, crisp lettuce, fresh sliced meat, spices...just delicious! Again, the staff here was great! I wish I knew the name of the African American gentleman that greeted me and I think was in charge. I witnessed his door greetings to other customers and he really has that "personal touch" with people. I think I need to eat here at least 1-2 times a week for now on. My wife already told me we need to focus on them vrs the other alternative sub restaurants. I think she is right!“

“Love your sandwiches and I get them at least once a week! But so disappointed today :(. Drive to my normal location on hall and Hayes and found out they were closed for remodeling. So drove to Macomb location. I normally pay close attention while subs are made to correct issues but today I was getting pushed into paying before my subs were made. Sadly I got home and it was wrong :(. Ordered three subs total. 2 of three were not what was requested. ie wrong bread, missing mikes way dressing etc. one of the kids subs was completely smashed. it was obvious new employees were working and I’m not totally blaming them. Moving forward I will make sure I watch my sandwiches being made and wont get rushed to the register. I paid a lot for these sandwiches and expect to get what I ordered.“

“I've always used the app to place my orders (sub club). For the most part the subs are accurate as far as ingredients. It's hit and miss how well they're put together depending on who's working... sometimes they're sloppily put together. There's a guy that works there who always nails it! But don't believe anyone there reads the comments (can add in the app). I always ask for my footlong NOT to be cut in half but they always do anyway, I think out of habit. I prefer to cut it in thirds when I get home. Aside from that, there are booths to sit and eat and kept clean. It's a small restaurant and there are no public restrooms.“

“Fast, Clean, and wonderful customer service!“

“Mike, Zach and new employee Aaliyah were wonderful to our family of five dining Sunday after church. Our children being seriously hungry and loud. They never showed a sign of being annoyed or bothered. Zach instead offered a cookie for their wait. Mike came from off the grill after cooking our food and mopped up a fruit punch spill immediately.

Aaliyah during all of this made sure the food was prepared topped and ready to go!!! The food was so good so warm everything crispy but soft and gooey. Very flavorful and well presented. Zach delivered our food straight to our table: The Italian Sub, Philly Sub and Turkey Wrap with 2 medium fries and another cup for the fruit punch from our sons’ spill. For this to not be a sit down family restaurant… the three sure did make us feel like our family mattered and will definitely be fed lol so THANK YOU!!!! 5 STARS“

“Every time I come to this Tubby’s location, and I’ve been to other locations, they get me together!! This location is by far the best in the city. I always order the 2XL steak and cheese with extra Tubby dressing. And they NEVER DISAPPOINT!! Customer service is always good also.“

“I have gotten Firehouse catered for several meetings and a very large event. Sunny and Rita are always so great and accommodating, as well as on time when I get the catering delivered. Everytime I have ordered I get outstanding service, great communication, and our staff always loves the subs. This is also one of the only places I know with gluten free bread that is actually good. Highly recommend for lunch or a catering!“

“I haven't been to this place in years because I went vegetarian but I randomly got the taste for the Tubby's dressing today (it is a delicious dressing) and chose to give the hot stir fried veggie sub a try. I am both delighted and upset by how much I enjoyed it. xD It reminded me of when I used to get the mushroom, steak, and cheese sub (which I would recommend to the meat eaters). The people working there were also super nice! I will be wanting to return here soon!

Vegetarian options: Under speciality subs they have the veggie sub with mushrooms. I just ordered it (minus green peppers and tomatoes because I can't eat those) and it was delicious ?“

I've been a regular customer at the Subway located within my local Walmart and have consistently had positive experiences. Firstly, the cleanliness of the restaurant is always impressive. The dining area and preparation areas are consistently well-maintained, creating a pleasant environment.

“My favorite sub is the Italian and Jersey Mike's is the BEST I've ever eaten. The meat is really high quality and the ham is especially very flavorful. The first time I ever got one, I was astonished at the amount of meat they put on them...I couldn't hardly bite into it, lol. “Was inspired to make this review because my sandwich was spectacularly bomb this time around, but everyone who works here is always kind and polite, and they always get my order correct and distribute the food evenly and fairly. I was honestly shocked to see so many negative reviews before I realized none of you must have ever worked any kind of customer service job before.. that or you’re just plain stupid. If you’re seriously taking the time to come on here to try to ruin the reputation of a bunch of people working minimum wage to make you a sandwich you could easily make at home (since you so clearly have enough free time to leave a nasty google review)… You need to grow up. “I just have to give a shout out to the employee that was working the night we came in (I didn't get her name but I remember she had blue colored hair). There was some chaos going on in the front of the gas station while we were just trying to get some food. She was calm, friendly, made my sandwich just how I liked it and offered up fresh cookies. They weren't stingy on use of ingredients like the others in Grosse Pointe and unlike the one on Harper they got the order right first try instead of hallucinating a whole different sandwich even on the remake.
