“Stopped in today and was helped by a girl who was working. She was wonderful, had an amazing personality and was just really pleasant. Service was very quick and sub looked great! I was disappointed to learn that this location does not allow credit card tips… every other Subway I have been to does allow them. I read some other reviews that this location apparently doesn’t take coupons either? Not sure about that but if you go just know that you’re probably going to have a wonderful experience if she is working and want to bring a cash tip! :)

“The place was busy as it was lunch time. I ordered 2 large subs. One a chicken and cheddar, the other a mushroom steak and cheese. The staff was friendly and the store very clean. No problems with the subs. However the young lady who was taking the orders and ringing them up, never changed her gloves when she returned to the kitchen to help..“

“Grilled Tubby's Famous sub is amazing! Everything's getting too expensive, but the prices here are a little high for what you get. However, I see they are stuffing a coupon in every sub going out the door now, so you can get at least a dollar off your next big sub.“

“Sarah and Kendra were really awesome. I had gone to another location where they were being difficult about subbing TURKEY FOR HAM. Lol and I came here and they were very polite and welcoming. Sarah was training and employee and helping a client with dietary needs and she was so accommodating and personable. “My favorite cold sub is the #9 Club Supreme. And in the hot subs, the #15 Meatball and #18 Chicken parm are really good. They do a really great job and the "Mike's Way" with the oil and spices creates a flavor I don't get anywhere else.“

The manager or lead not sure his position but Barry was awesome the way he moved through the store and handle the food was 5 star service and I appreciate him so much. “I had an excellent experience at Subway today, thanks to Terrance. He was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure my order was perfect. He took the time to ask about my preferences and offered great suggestions that really enhanced the meal. Terrance worked efficiently, but still made sure to engage with each customer, creating a welcoming atmosphere. His positive attitude and attention to detail made my visit memorable. It’s clear that he takes pride in his work and goes above and beyond for his customers. I will definitely be returning, and I hope Terrance is there to serve me again!“

“Love your sandwiches and I get them at least once a week! But so disappointed today :(. Drive to my normal location on hall and Hayes and found out they were closed for remodeling. So drove to Macomb location. I normally pay close attention while subs are made to correct issues but today I was getting pushed into paying before my subs were made. Sadly I got home and it was wrong :(. Ordered three subs total. 2 of three were not what was requested. ie wrong bread, missing mikes way dressing etc. one of the kids subs was completely smashed. it was obvious new employees were working and I’m not totally blaming them. Moving forward I will make sure I watch my sandwiches being made and wont get rushed to the register. I paid a lot for these sandwiches and expect to get what I ordered.“

“Visited twice, once months ago and once today. Wow! What a great sub! Yeah I am not fond of a sub costing $15 like the giant italian does but wow is it worth it! I mean the staff politeness was awesome (including in store safety virus protocols)! Then the sub was over the top again. Freshest bread anywhere, perfect red tomatoes, crisp lettuce, fresh sliced meat, spices...just delicious! Again, the staff here was great! I wish I knew the name of the African American gentleman that greeted me and I think was in charge. I witnessed his door greetings to other customers and he really has that "personal touch" with people. I think I need to eat here at least 1-2 times a week for now on. My wife already told me we need to focus on them vrs the other alternative sub restaurants. I think she is right!“

“I usually go to Penn Station for their great Italian sub sandwich (on white bread), and of course for their fabulous freshly made fries. This time I has a coupon for a free Hot Honey Chicken sub. Not very colorful (see photo), but still quite tasty. I’d do it again. Also, I have signed up for Penn Station rewards, and today I received a free small fry. Deandre was the server, and helped ensure I got them both for free. Great service, great deal, nice sandwich!!“

“I've always used the app to place my orders (sub club). For the most part the subs are accurate as far as ingredients. It's hit and miss how well they're put together depending on who's working... sometimes they're sloppily put together. There's a guy that works there who always nails it! But don't believe anyone there reads the comments (can add in the app). I always ask for my footlong NOT to be cut in half but they always do anyway, I think out of habit. I prefer to cut it in thirds when I get home. Aside from that, there are booths to sit and eat and kept clean. It's a small restaurant and there are no public restrooms.“

“Every time I come to this Tubby’s location, and I’ve been to other locations, they get me together!! This location is by far the best in the city. I always order the 2XL steak and cheese with extra Tubby dressing. And they NEVER DISAPPOINT!! Customer service is always good also.“

“I have gotten Firehouse catered for several meetings and a very large event. Sunny and Rita are always so great and accommodating, as well as on time when I get the catering delivered. Everytime I have ordered I get outstanding service, great communication, and our staff always loves the subs. This is also one of the only places I know with gluten free bread that is actually good. Highly recommend for lunch or a catering!“

“My favorite sub is the Italian and Jersey Mike's is the BEST I've ever eaten. The meat is really high quality and the ham is especially very flavorful. The first time I ever got one, I was astonished at the amount of meat they put on them...I couldn't hardly bite into it, lol. I especially like that they cook their own roast beef right there and slice it as needed, as well as bake their own sub rolls...you can't get fresher than that!!!“

They weren't stingy on use of ingredients like the others in Grosse Pointe and unlike the one on Harper they got the order right first try instead of hallucinating a whole different sandwich even on the remake.
