“I visited Detroit recently and tried several Coney Island restaurants. Dearborn was by far my favorite. The coney was delicious and the chili cheese fries were very fresh and good. The chili was great, the service was amazing and friendly, and the tuna melt was the best I had ever had. I wish I could go back 100 times.“

“This is a grip of nostalgia from the word go.

This restaurant is never more than it needs to be. One person on the grill, one waitress, and a great lineup of breakfast and lunch options.

The place is cash only, which is not something you see everyday. And EVERYTHING on the menu is under $10.

You won’t find a better value for breakfast in the area. The cynics would say it needs to be renovated, but if they do it would take away from the charm.

Nothing needs to change about this place. We will be here again. Thank you“

“Ive been here a few times to delivery throne chairs and marquee numbers for a party there event space is huge and they’ve made some updates to the flooring. The space can hold a lot of people and every party I’ve delivered to here seem to be a good party and have a nice turn out.“

“My server, Jamey, was very friendly and accommodating. She went out of her way to fulfill my requests. The food was fresh and delicious. Although the music was too loud and annoying to me, the hostess was able to seat me in a quieter area even though she had to clean the table for me. “The food is delicious! The last two times we went here we waited a long time to order. The waitresses were all talking by the register. Then came the long wait for the food. People who came after us were served. This second visit we had a sandwich and an omelette. There was no reason to wait 25 minutes for the food. We were really considering leaving. Then we were going to take some food home but since our waitress didn’t come by, we decided to just pay and leave. We’ve been going to Pipers for many many years, but after the service we received the last two visits, it will be awhile before we come back. This is sad because the food is really good. The restaurant only had 5 tables with people and there were 4 or 5 people hanging around the register.“

“The Bistro in the lobby of the Detroit Metro Airport Marriott is an okay place to post up if you need to. The food is really nothing special - hotel prices for very basic snacks and meals. But the atmosphere is nice, with recently renovated seating areas (including couches and many TVs showing various sports). If you want to catch a game while staying at this hotel, the Bistro and lobby is an okay place to do so.“

“Went there for lunch today. They were super short staffed, but other than the wait for the table, you couldn't tell. The wait-staff was amazing, even if there was only THREE for the whole place. “I tried really hard to find Google reviews for this restaurant but I could not locate it so I will leave my review here. I'm a little late but I'll keep my promise. My boyfriend and I had lunch here yesterday and it was such a nice experience. The '80s and '90s theme is so cool! and the girl behind the counter who took our order was as sweet as could be. I wish I couldn't remember the name of the store owner, and I should have written it down, but what a genuine nice guy! The food was superior! I had the chicken and bacon ranch wrap which was so large that I had to take half of it with me. My boyfriend's Ringo Burger was so delicious and so fresh tasting. We also had the cajun fries and he generously offered a cup of French onion soup for us to try. All I can say is delicious! I would definitely recommend this place and I will be coming back again! “Sam’s place feels like it came straight out of a movie. I love coming here. Imagine a diner from the 80s and you basically have Sam’s place.

The service is super fast and friendly, the food is your typical diner food. They have a good variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Prices are really good and the food normally comes out within 5-10 minutes.“

“First time visit for dinner and Live music. Recently found out they have a ton of Gluten free options and Celiac safe!!! Such a blessing to have in our hometown. Seated immediately but had to wait a bit for food during Prime time. Waitress was wonderful and empathetic and brought us a free appetizer while we waited. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her Gluten free Cheeseburger and rest of group enjoyed Gluten Free pizza and Brussel sprout salad with Peanut butter dressing 😋 Work the wait and WILL be back. “If you're looking for a great local dive bar, this is your spot. The staff is friendly, the vibe is chill, and the food is solid. My husband and I usually get either the patty melt, cod dinner, queso dip, or their wings (they're huge!) and it's always piping hot and delicious. This is our favorite spot for sure.“
