Edit: the orange chicken is delicious. I asked for the sauce on the side and an extra sweet and sour sauce cup and they only charged $1 for the extra sauce (picky 2 year old) portions were huge as well.“

“Just found this place recently thru an online Gluten free blogger. I am medically Gluten intolerant. There aren't many places around me that I trust for 1)my health and safety,and 2) fantastic food! Hidalgo's staff put me at ease with their knowledge about minimizing cross contamination. Everything I've tried there has been excellent. Took non GF people there too and everyone left happy!! “The food is delicious! The last two times we went here we waited a long time to order. The waitresses were all talking by the register. Then came the long wait for the food. People who came after us were served. This second visit we had a sandwich and an omelette. There was no reason to wait 25 minutes for the food. We were really considering leaving. Then we were going to take some food home but since our waitress didn’t come by, we decided to just pay and leave. We’ve been going to Pipers for many many years, but after the service we received the last two visits, it will be awhile before we come back. This is sad because the food is really good. The restaurant only had 5 tables with people and there were 4 or 5 people hanging around the register.“

“This place has been my go too for a few years. Hands down the best Chicken Gyro around, the spicy sauce and ranch dressing they have is excellent. The staff is always friendly and the service is top notch. My only complaint is sometimes they are too busy and you will have to wait for a seat. But this place is definitely worth the wait.“

“During a stop in Detroit I stopped in to the Longhorn Steakhouse for a quick bite .

There was a short 10 minute wait due to time I arrive close to dinner time but it went by fast .

Quickly seated and given the menu . Menu is straightforward and to the point with classics such as steaks for main entrees , several salads and handhelds.

I chose the chicken bacon sandwich but instead of fried got it grilled : a great choice for a more healthy option. Chicken is well grilled and the sandwich is certainly tasty . Multiple sides to choose from but I kept it simple with French fries

Service is good and fast which is all one can hope for in a airport

However I can speak to their hot and sour soup it is the second best round the first best unfortunately closed a while back and I've been scrambling for a replacement and looks like this place is going to win. I was unable to find a hotel room do to the beginning of Fall semester at the University of Michigan which dampened my mood ,somewhat. No toothbrush,ect,\n The manager was hosting a celebration of the promotion to Detective of a local police officer. They included me in the party and changed my whole attitude. I took a better view of our species from that very special social interlude. You can't make stuff like this up.\n I pondered the event as set in for the night in my car. There was a golden lining in that cloud and I got the best nights sleep I have ever had in a compact rental car.\n My waitress was wonderful and provided me with uncanny feedback on negative situations. “Had dinner there in mid-April with some friends. In checking my credit card I found out I was being double billed for the meal. I tried about a dozen or so times to reach them by phone to get it corrected. No one answered the phone !! So I had to file my own charge dispute with my card company. My advice is watch your credit card statements !!!“

“Really nice folks and beautiful interesting interior. Been on my list opening 4 months ago. Ordered Pupu Platter, Chinese Scallion Pancakes, Large Chinese Veggies Soup and Chicken Egg Foo Young. Surprised when eating inside no plates or silverware. Everything brought out in to go containers that's okay. Absolutely fantastic Delicious Scallion Pancakes not found in many places. The quart of Spot packed full was good except broth zero flavor like water. Chicken Egg Foo Young nothing like ever had weird crunchy patties with very small amount of gravy. The very good Rice and a mega amount. Egg Roll spot on Wonderful. The bad absolutely worse ever Pupu Platter Chicken Wings dry, Crab Rangoon Yuk, Shrimp heavy batter couldn't taste Shrimp. Ribs just ok, Spring Rolls a winner and what they call Teriyaki Beef I know as Balamaki was great. I'm willing to give them another chance to change my 3 star rating. Great effort by cook just not up to par with dozen other Chinese restaurants in the area.“
