“I don’t typically leave reviews, but I have to say the variety of food, the attentive waitstaff, and quality of family dining is superb. The patrons tonight included a young man, maybe mid-20’s who stood up to thank a veteran for his service as he was leaving his dining table by himself. All around a great dining experience and the coffee is bomb!“

“Once again, excellent food and service! Our server Heidi was top notch...what a crew today, Carly, Lindsay, Pia, Jen and Kenzie. Kevin the owner and Paul the manager both made it a point to stop at our table to make sure we were enjoying our lunches. Loved it so much will prob stop in again on Monday !“

“Food is excellent. Cooked to perfection. Vegetables are fresh and served Al Dente. Soups and chili always made in house. Great staff. Servers are on top of it. Polite, friendly, and efficient. Bar staff, well, youl have to stop in for a drink. They are excellent. A++++“

“My girlfriend and I love this place and the people are outstanding. We just had their Sunday special; a turkey dinner with all the fixings! “Delicious experience. This place is low key and I shouldn't leave a review so that doesn't change, but here we are. Tried 3 beers and would order all again. The pizza place in the back was phenomenol - we got the Tuscany. So good. If you like chill places, good beer and wood fired pizza, come here“

“My three guests had never eaten at Green Street and they loved the atmosphere as well as the food. This was an important time and place for us because I was their ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher back in the 1983-84 school year!! Yes, we have kept in contact each year, usually around Christmas. They were immigrants from Vietnam several years before they were in my class. Thank you for your usual good food and service. I was very pleased.“

“The lunch special is unreal. The sliders and burgers are very good. I got the lunch deal and added 6 boneless wings a couple of times. Cheaper than a quarter pounder meal and 37 times better! Dinner favorites are fish and chips, and 6 jumbo fried shrimp (3 of us). Fun place.“

“I scheduled a Celebration of Life event on Wednesday afternoon July 13th, reserving one of the 2 private rooms that are available for gatherings. I gave a $100 deposit which was later subtracted from the total bill.. so there was no charge for the room. The large room holds up to 100 people, we were in the smaller room, having a guest list of 23. My guests raved about the food and our server Rebecca. She did a Great job, very attentive, and friendly. Thanks also to Jackie, and the rest of the staff. Kudos to the kitchen! The Salmon and Chicken Marsala were very popular that afternoon and cooked to perfection. Thank you Aspen for making my event so special!! My comment to Donna, the manager, you can certainly be proud of the way this restaurant functions. Relaxed atmosphere, professional employees, great food.....“

“😋This was the first time that I have eaten at River Rat. The food was sooo delicious!! My husband Larry and I had the Chicken Breast Montreal, I had coleslaw, and Chicken Noodle soup, and he had mashed potatoes, and green beans with his. His brother Mike, had the baked Walleye. The rolls were sooo yummy!! Many thanks to our waitress Tayler! She was so nice, and kind, and onpoint!! I give this rating a 5 Star!! We shall be back!“

“Always a consideration for us for dining in or carryout. The last time we got carryout, my mom and I couldn't decide between the Baked Meatloaf or the Roasted Fresh Turkey (with dressing)... So of course, we each ordered one and split it (it was so much food, we could've ordered *one* meal and split it). Oh my gosh, these two entrees were delicious. Homemade taste and was the ultimate comfort food!!!! If I absolutely had to pick, the turkey was my fav, but it was sooooo close. The turkey, dressing, gravy, and mashed potatoes are truly nostalgic. So simple, but I'm craving to go back again just for that.
The service is always very fast, very friendly; just that small, hometown feel every time. Highly recommend for any time of the day and any meal!“

“Stopped in today for lunch with my daughter and son in law. First thing to notice is how clean this place is. I’m talking spotless. Our waitress, Nicole, greeted us with smiles and laughs. Everything ordered was fabulous, and hot. 10/10 for this place. We will come back!! The steak bites were so good. Chicken fingers were in house breaded, the brisket sandwich was so tender. I see there’s no new recommendations so I posting one.“
