Staff is very friendly, attentive, and well versed when talking about specials and menu items. The open kitchen and atmosphere really make the experience memorable. The kitchen is very clean and well kept; it’s amazing to see how hard the few people in the kitchen work to craft 10/10 pizzas with unforgettable flavor. The food is as amazing as it is accommodating, many vegetarian items as well as in house made gluten free crust. The drink menu is filled with an extensive list of imported wines and craft cocktails (and mocktails) made with fresh ingredients and good quality liquor. Just like in the kitchen, you can tell the bartender(s) work efficiently to prepare every drink to perfection. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry and has high standards, this place has truly earned my 5 star rating.“

“We had our wedding shower at Guernsey Restaurant last weekend & could not have asked for a better experience! We had 35 people and the waitresses were on top of everything the entire time. I’m not sure if this was planned or if she just did it, but one of the waitresses was almost entirely dedicated to me as the bride, making sure I was never without a drink, being there for anything that was needed, they were wonderful! The food was amazing and of course the ice cream is the best around, but the service was what made it truly special!“

We did a taco/nacho bar with some additional items. I kept repeating their name all night. Every detail was perfection down to the fruit kabobs with my son’s name and college he will be attending. “Husband and I had an appointment at 7:30 not far from here. So I googled close sushi places and this popped up. Didnt look at the pictures. Very cool building.
Super snotty, rude guy host came up. He said, 'Yes?' I said, '2 of us' he asked if we had a reservation...we didn't, I didnt look close enough to see that we needed one. He looked down mumbled, '20 more minutes and we will be full....this way.' Sat us.

Everything else was absolutely fantastic. Waitress was SO sweet. Good sushi. Good drinks. Very cool vibe.

We went to leave but walked pasts the host stand to look at the bar and see what was on the other side. Looked very cool. As we turned around the rude host and 2 gentleman were standing behind us. The host had his eyebrows raised and a scowl of 'you are in our way.' Then rolled his eyes as we apologized and he walked past us. My husband even noticed and commented on how rude he was.
Anyways, we will be back because of the food and the ambiance. Just ignore the pretentious host.“

“Such a cool little place. I took my friend here for her birthday because I wanted to take her somewhere unique that is not a chain. We got the hot artichoke dip, which was absolutely amazing, the arugula salad, which was so so good, and two of their woodfired pizzas. Off the top of my head I cannot remember what the names of them were, but I’m pretty sure one was the Lucy and the other one had different kinds of mushrooms on it and was a white pizza. Both were phenomenal and I would totally get again! I love that they have non-alcoholic cocktails here as well. It was a perfect evening and felt very special. I will definitely go back here again. I took the leftover pizza home to my son who devoured it and just raved about it over and over.“

“I’ve been going to Masala in Novi for several years. Large and diverse menu that they really deliver on. (Many places fall flat: too many items to manage well. Not so here.) The South Lyon location is the star: bigger, nicer, albeit still a fast casual design. The good news is that this location is now doing specials each weekend. And they nail it. My knowledge of Indian cuisine is reasonably good but virtually everything on the special menu was new to me. What a discovery. Jenn and I will definitely be going back for more of those.
