“We had such a wonderful experience with Cakes by Stephanie for our wedding cake! From start to finish, they were incredibly easy to work with, friendly, and accommodating.
We especially loved the personalized cake tasting. They had a great variety of flavors and fillings, and we were able to choose **three different flavor/filling combinations for our three-tier wedding cake**, which was perfect for us and gave our guests plenty of options.
The whole process was smooth and straightforward, and we really appreciated that they offered delivery and setup. The cake arrived right on time and looked beautiful.
Most importantly, **everyone absolutely loved the cake!** We received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious it was.
Thank you to the entire Cakes by Stephanie team for helping make our wedding day even more special. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding cake!“

“Sugar Island Baking Company.. WOW!! My cousin and I hosted a family reunion in Grosse Ile, and we were looking for catering that was nearby, and I happened upon this in my searches. (I live in NYC so my standards are pretty high). Catering options were a nice variety sandwiches, cookies, brownies, cheesecakes shooters, and some savory options as well. Every single thing that we ate was better than the next. All the members of our family couldn’t stop raving about the food and desserts. Kristy and her team were very kind, communicative, and executed everything perfectly. I can not recommend Sugar Island Baking Company enough…“

“The absolute best little bakery and cafe. Everything and I mean everything is delicious. It’s all home made from scratch and so so so good. It’s one of those places you can take anybody to and they’ll find something yummy to eat. It feels so good to be able to go out with my little daughter and be able to feed her good food she actually is excited to eat. A very special place!
Kid-friendliness: They are SO good about your littles. My girl loves everything there, cookies, sandwiches, soups, quiche. The staff is super kid-friendly. We go so often, my 2 year old girl loves them all!“

“So I drove 30 minutes just to check this place out and I will say it was a great experience. I am a gestational diabetic who loves Sweets so for me this was a win. I am just so happy that I am able to find a place to get sweet treats, but not have my Sugar spiked. I got the cherry chip cupcake, cheesecake, and the moose cup and everything was delicious. Could not even tell it was zero sugar definitely is a go to ….everybody should come and support this business.“

“I was in Michigan from out of town and was staying at an airbnb next door. I came in needing a cake the same day after a mishap with my son's bday cake. They had a cake that a customer failed to pick up and they had available. It was purple with flowers so not very good for a 12 year old boy. They took all the decorations off and mixed up a beautiful blue icing color and covered the places that were purple. Then was able to write happy birthday and she even added beautiful gold sprinkle balls! It was beautiful and I was so thankful! She was able to do all that in under 30 minutes! When we got it back to our rental and were able to eat the cake it was AMAZING! It was a vanilla cake with white chocolate icing and raspberry fruit filling. It was a hit and I was super thankful they were able to help out last minute!“

“I have really enjoyed the ice cream bunny cakes I've purchased in the past years. Unfortunately, this year is different. The cookie on the face of the bunny was completely unedible. It had a very strange flavor and left a bad aftertaste. We didn't even try the tail cookie. All the inside cake and ice cream and frosting was delicious though.“
