“I've been to this restaurant 5 times. Had good meals and very disappointing meals. Ordered the clam basket once and only got 5 tiny strips of clam. The mushroom and Swiss burger I had today was alright, but the bun was soggy. The "award winning" potato soup was just ok and obviously reheated, not fresh. These are only my opinions, locals just love this place. Our waitress was very friendly.“

“Stopped in to try the St. Patrick's Day menu. Went with the burger with the corned beef added onto it. (Sorry, I can't recall the name of it!) In a word - awesome!! And the mint mousse dessert "for two" was big enough for, at least, three! Also incredible!! Service was amazing, too, from the bartender! Loved everything about it!!“

“Absolutely amazing! The interior of this place is royal and gives a great speakeasy vibe. It was super busy and a bit noisy on a Saturday night. The food was amazing, and the service was good too! I'd recommend this place for sure, get a reservation beforehand to avoid the wait. I parked on the street, but it was safe to do so.“

“Had a great time eating lunch with my bride and our kids (aged 13 & 14). Good burgers, good fries, good drinks and good service.Parking: On-street parking worked well for us at lunch during the week over a holiday break, but I could see where it could be challenging during the evening to find a spot.Kid-friendliness: Our kids had no problem finding something to eat.“

“I'd heard this was a good place and the reviews were good, so we decided to check it out. I would describe the atmosphere as 'dive bar', but in a good way. Not too big inside and all of the customers were enjoying themselves. Seemed like everyone felt 'at home'. Everything was clean, Service was great. Ordered a Build Your Own Burger... was pleasantly surprised that it was one of the best burgers around! Great Food, Cold Beer, and Good Prices - what more could you ask for?!“

“UPDATEWe decided to try it again. This time was a complete game changer. Our waitress, Jasmine, was very knowledgeable about gluten-free and what could be made. She was very transparent with us about the menu. We will definitely be returning our next visit ro Michigan. There's a HUGE difference in an intolerance and an allergy. I'm allergic to gluten, which means I can NOT eat it. I wish the servers knew the difference when they put an order on. Unfortunately, my family will never eat here again. Horrible place to eat if you have any type of allergy.“

“Great variety of food offerings, including gluten friendly options. I enjoyed the GF fish tacos, served with refried beans and rice. I'm definitely going back!Dietary restrictions: Plenty of GF options. But the buns were dryParking: It's located in an out lot of a shopping plaza.“

“I ordered online and pickup was easy and fast.I ordered Pork and Beef PT Tacos, Street Corn Nachos and Chicharonnes. The Tacos were a bit lacking but still really good. The Chicharonnes were an amazing sharable food, the flavor wasn't too over the top but still really good and pleasant. But God Damn, the Street Corn Nachos were to die for!!!! It was loaded with amazing ingredients from top to bottom! Each ingredient plays off the other. If you get one thing get the Street Corn Nachos, you will not regret it ❤️“

“Had the Texas burger and it was one of the top 2 or 3 burgers I have ever had, including my own. I was full but still wanted just one more bite. It was that good. Was served with crinkle fries which were ok but some good hand cut or curly fries would have complemented that delicious burger much better.Dietary restrictions: Wife has gluten allergies, had a burger and said it was good and the bun was better then most. Was thick enough as to not fall apart as some do. Was most like a regular bun.“

“We absolutely love coming here! Their Mexican food is the best - please try their homemade corn tortilla tacos and refried beans. Truly authentic. Everything we’ve tried is quality and their service is always top notch. Marty, the Head Chef even came out to introduce himself to us. The servers create the warm and welcoming experience and the culinary geniuses work behind the scenes to keep us coming back. And telling others!“

“If you are looking for a place to stop that has great staff, friendly regulars, and amazing food-- this is the stop for you! Family owned bar with that hometown feel. It is cash only, but there is an ATM on site! I 100% recommend checking this place out!“

“Wow! What a hidden gem! This greasy spoon has so much to offer. The best pizza in town, great drinks and appetizers too! The customer service is out of this world, and it was so nice to be able to sit and relax at a place that is local. Highly recommend the potato skins and the everything pizza. you have to check this place out!“
“A great place to stop in to get out of the heat and get a cold one. The bartender was the only staffer and she rocked it! My guys got a pizza and a sandwich they happily noshed down. My husband and I shared an order of chips and salsa that did not disappoint. Cold drinks, yummy food and happy, attentive service! Stop in, you'll be happy you did.“
“Like nothing else around here! A super fun way to spend time with friends. Service was friendly and fast and bowling was so much fun. Pincrest is a true local gem that, frankly, I'm surprised more people haven't heard of. Think of it as a bar with a bowling area more than a bowling alley with a bar. We will be back!“
“This place is a hole in the wall bar. We were in from Chicago and picked a bar at random. Walked in during karaoke. All the regulars kinda stopped and stared at us. We had a blast karaoke-ing with everyone. It was one of the nicest karaoke setups and I go to a lot of karaoke joints. Drinks were great. Bartender friendly and fun. This is all I want from a bar. Would go back.“
“Great selection of their own handcrafted beers, plus seltzers and liquor, are now available. Food selections are delicious. Also, they have something happening most nights - including karaoke, trivia, bands, chess, etc.I'd also like to note that UBC is a strong supporter of local bicycling efforts. The Muskegon County Bicycling Coalition (MCBC) meets at Unruly for our weekly Tues night ride, and the MCBC also enjoys good and drink after both the Monday night Farmer's Market ride and the Tues night ride. They even give us $1 of our first drink on both nights. Additionally, they allow the MCBC to store and repair bicycles in the Unruly warehouse for the local bike libraries.“
“If it has been a minute since you have been to Nauty's, you need to stop by because the inside has been beautifully updated. If that doesn't do it for ya, sit at the bar & Missy will make you a drink & have you laugh until you cry. Oooh, & karaoke on Saturdays!“
“Love MiBar! I typically come here Sunday's after work for a drink or two. The bartenders always make you feel welcomed. They offer a jukebox, pool table, beer pong table, pull tabs, keno, and more. No kitchen, but they do sell a few snack foods.“
“Schultz Haus is one of those hole in the wall places that has been around for decades! It is a bar good for playing pool and having a few drinks. The best part is they rent out their kitchen to the old restaurant "Flamingos." Although Flamingos no longer has their physical location, they still have their amazing family recipes that they are pleased to serve the community every other Saturday from the Schultz Haus kitchen! The chips with meat and gravy is my favorite on the menu. The tacos are fabulous! The pricing is fair for Flamingos for authentic food. Schultz Haus also has multiple television to watch sports. The staff are friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced. Be careful, lots of giant potholes on the road they are on!!“

“Tight quarters but still able to hold a conversation with each other and not feel intrusive. Started with an old fashion, not the best I've ever had but good and it looks great in a photo ?. We also had the buffalo wings which were delicious. The clam chowder was ok and just a little above room temperature.Hubby had the yellow belly perch with onion rings ands he thought it was very delicious, and I agree! I had the shrimp Mediterranean style and that was also wonderfully yummy.Service was very friendly and even with the busy restaurant she (I'm doing bad lately with names, sorry) did a great job keeping up with all tables.Prices are average with dinners around $20-$25. Since we came in the winter it didn't seem to be too busy, however the tables were always full but we got a table right away. Parking can be tight, especially if it gets real busy but if you find a spot...stay for a delicious meal.“
“Love this place! You’re treated like a regular the moment you walk through the door. The only seating is at the wrap-around bar, so it feels kind of communal with the other tavern goers. Strong drinks and decent prices, a really friendly staff and laid back atmosphere. If you like dive bars, this place is for you. Try the chili dog and warm pork rinds.“

“The food was very good..the staff was wonderful. I did catch my pants on a nail sticking up out of the chair seat. Tore a hole in them. Was not happy about that as they were new. When I said something to our waitress it was basically ignored. I will try to go back again.... hopefully they will have done something about their chairs.Parking: A good area for parking. As far as I could tell no handicap parking and no way to get in if you have a wheelchair.“

“I've eaten here a number of times and the the food has has been good most of the time. Two times in recent visits I had problems with the food. I had the perch dinner and it was soggy with a pool of grease. Menu suggest a house made crust on the pizza and I have had people recommend it, but the crust was the only thing about the pizza I thought was not good. My wife and I like going there, but wonder if staffing problem are the cause. Until the last two visits the food was consistently good.“
“I love coming here after waking up hungover. The drinks are affordable and the tacos remind of the tacos i used to get from this ice cream place in the early 90's. Unpretentious bar food, affordable drinks, and excellent service every time I've gone. What more could you want?“
“Mariah-1 review-21 hours ago-NEWBartender was the rudest person I’ve ever seen behind a bar. I personally will never go back. If they don’t appreciate the customers I will take my money elsewhere. So how many people were working? How many customers?“

“I'm surprised this place doesn't have higher ratings! It's a fun, little place with a cool vibe to grab pizza and try some different beers. They have TVs and you can watch a game. We have eaten here a handful of times and love it. However, full disclosure we have only tried the pizza but it has always been delicious. The service is good. I can't think of anything about it that was over the top good or bad.“

“Great hole in the wall place. Can't complain about the service/food at all. The atmosphere wasn't terrible at all. It's better than most bars I've been to. It wasn't busy at all, which made it a great environment to sit and catch up with friends. It was also significantly cheaper than most other places I've been to, even in the area.“
“Everyone goes here for Rebel Road/Bike Time. During this time it's just a backyard full of people drinking and socializing with no band or DJ. Would be so much better if they had a DJ just for these 3 days. Never been there any other time.“

“We enjoyed the Thanksgiving day buffet. The food was very good. The staff was amazing. There was a problem with our reservation and they had us at a table that wouldn't hold 4 adults. The manager (Patrick)and server (Mikayla) found us a new table and made the whole experience really enjoyable. I highly recommend coming here for any holiday buffet. The view of the golf course was great!“

“Drinks were good, and the July 4th event they were doing was fun, but we didn't get the right food in several ways and had waited so long up to that point that we no longer had time to get it corrected. I will give some excuse since it was a holiday, but it was not that busy inside and it took the servers quite some time each time to see us even though we were sitting right next to the servers prep area.I would recomend for drinks or bar breakfast, but doesn't give "brunch" vibes at all.“

“Food was great as always. The service review was based on the speed of the food coming out. There were a number of tables that waited an hour plus for their meals. The friendly staff seemed to not be around to even refill drinks while we all waited. Once you are waiting for food and not drinking, the atmosphere tends to decline. Frustration was in the air. Though we love the food at this place, the speed of service declined in the past year.“

“We go over to Canary when my sister comes into town because they love to play Keno and they don't have Keno in their state. Canary welcomes my sister and her wife by name and knows what they drink and they're from out of town. Now I call that Customer Service! Canary has always been a favorite of mine but I have recently moved back to Muskegon after growing up here. But my family and myself, always visited on holidays and my family are big on going out, having fun and celebrating, which includes drinking and playing Keno! Most of the family likes gambling in all forms, I'm just not one of them! Not even all that into Keno...might be because I don't usually win and the other family members are so darn lucky! Now about the food on that given day...usually I don't have any complaints, but the onion rings were way too deep fried and I wanted a very rare burger. I'm a 'purist', just a burger with a touch of salt and pepper with a bun, nothing else. And I want the meat very, very, very, very rare! Just lightly heated on both sides. I took my burger to go, otherwise I would have sent it back and that would have probably been the only second time, in my 66 years, I have ever sent food back! Not to Canary, to anywhere! But the meat was medium and I didn't want it, I don't eat by taste, I eat by the way it feels in my mouth so that's why I like a rare burger. So besides the food, everything else was fun and we had a great time and get the tater tots, one of the best foods I felt in my mouth and the others at the table thought they were delicious! Lol“
