“I love this little bakery shop! It's exactly what you want out of a "mom and pop" style bakery. The treats are delicious and extremely reasonably priced!Parking: Not too big of a parking lot but definitely enough space and not hard to find.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of smaller sweet treats for the kids too.“

“Always a favorite for my wife and I. The food never disappoints and the German beer is a favorite of mine. Service is always friendly and I honestly all around a great experience every time. I personally love the pork schnitzel and it’s the only thing I’ve actually eaten here and it will always be that way. That being said, I’ve never tried anything else on the menu.“

“The food is worth the wait time. The price is RIGHT!! The BEST cornbread! The BEST mac and cheese! The breading on the catfish was AMAZING!! Burnt ends melted like butter, and the sauce is phenomenal! Hands down the best! Will be returning again. I can't wait to try the cake my husband was raving about!“

“I finally had the chance to stop and enjoy afew of their delicious muffins at the Grand Haven location, they were the best muffins I have ever had.Afew days later I was in Spring Lake and took the opportunity to stop at their restaurant and have brunch. They have a wonderful selection on the menu. Breakfast and lunch options, I opted to try the biscuits and gravy and a Matcha Green Latte ( YUM ).I was informed that they didn't have biscuits but I could have aCrosient instead. I thought this is a great option and happy I decided to try it.I purchased afew cookies for a snack later today.I recommend trying them out.Parking: This restaurant is in the back behind the main street businesses on Savage Street, Google it ifYou need if you help finding it“

“Hodge Podge has been my favorite local bakery ever since I was small! My friends and I used to ride our bikes over to pick up one of their pragel sandwiches, which has become a staple of my childhood. The service is amazing and the baked goods are some of the best in Muskegon (sorry not sorry Ryke’s)! Their Southwest Gobbler sandwich is one of THE BEST sandwiches I’ve had and is an amazing treat for the warm spring weather. Hodge Podge will be one of the main things I’ll miss when I go away to college, so please pay them a visit for me haha!“

“I moved back here to my beloved hometown Muskegon in November:)I live very close to here.I come here a lot. Coffee and donut(s), repeat. I tip. There's some very good young employees working the counter. There are two or three that um how do I say... They should take Business 101.I insert my card and they instruct you to hit green twice to bypass the tip.Wt helk? The first time I said that's kind of offensivem.. how do you know I don't want to tip? Then it happened again with a different employee... and I realized when you're really young you don't really care about tips well some people some some...the very young adult ones who lack common sense and who have not taken business 101bless their hearts.l ? ?? “

“This is what is called a "day old" bakery. All the goods offered are of the prepackaged variety.Good location. Low prices.Selection varies from day to day.The one clerk is alright. Not a career job I understand.I've seen her yack on the phone the entire time I was there.Rang up my order while on the phone.Whadaya gonna do?Better eat the goods quickly after a day or two, or the mold will set in.“
