AUTHENTIC with a capital “A.” From the smell of freshly grilled tortillas to the warm welcome from the owner (who told me they’ve been rocking it for 5 YEARS?!), I was sold instantly. Like… how have I been sleeping on this?! 😩 The decor? Simple but real. It’s giving “don’t judge a taco by its tortilla.” And even though I didn’t eat (YET), let me tell you something: if vibes had flavor, I already know this food SLAPS. “I don’t typically review fast food restaurants but the ladies that serviced me this morning (around 9:30a) were so sweet and accommodating. I just had to leave a review. I did a mobile order this morning and when I pulled up to the drive-through one of the items I ordered was not available, they kindly let me substitute for another menu item as well as threw in a complimentary drink. Good quality customer service is hard to come by these days, keep up the work ladies!“

“One of the best food trucks among many others in the area.
The food is always hot and fresh and delicious. The employees are on top of things and get you your food really quickly. In at least a dozen times that I've come here my order has been perfect every time.“

“I had 5 broken teeth and 2 large abscesses and couldn't eat much of anything but was starving. I was looking for something soft to gum. Thinking tamales or beans and cheese. Of the options the flour tortilla beef birria seemed to be the best fit. I ordered those, a side of beans and, a side of consomme. Was amazing. Just on the edge of what I can tolerate heat wise (I am a wimp). Great taste. I used the consomme to make birria ramen for a later meal. (Just beef ramen, 2 sticks string cheese, and the consomme). It was also great, very satisfying.“

Evies is very nondescript but the food is very good. Chips and salsa are delicious as an appetizer while waiting for your order. When dinner /lunch is over, the wait staff brings a large platter with various cookies as a complimentary free desert.“

“My husband and I tried out Nuevo Seoul for the first time and had a nice experience. It’s a cool setting, the service was fantastic, and we really enjoyed the food. We would eat here again.

Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten allergy, and they were really helpful. They double-checked the ingredients in the proteins I was considering and helped me find something safe to eat.“

“Went there today around 4pm for dinner, hadn't been there in a few years. I had the #1 Combo, alot of food and it was delicious!! My strawberry margarita was fantastic, shout out to the bartender!! Waitress was busy, but service was good; seemed she was the only waitress for room we were in (room with long bar that ran width of the room).“

“Quaint little Mexican spot found in the middle of a retail strip. Been here a few times in the past couple of weeks and tried something new each time. All (steak torta, shredded chicken tacos and steak burritos) have been tasty and more than I can eat in one sitting.

The young lady behind the counter has always greeted me with a polite demeanor and smile.

“My family and I visit Mexican Village because of the family connection from many many years ago, I remember running around the restaurant as a young child sixty years ago. The enchiladas suizas are exactly like I know them from México. The coffee.. im not a coffee drinker well I had that one for sure! The service is extraordinary, super kind and attentive. “Great flavor tacos, you can take out or seat, the seating area is large enough so you don't feel on top of each other.

The chiles asados (grilled peppers) were a nice compliment.

From the outside it looks sketchy but it was pretty good 😊

“Hands down best steak taco/burrito I've ever eaten. It's worth venturing to. It's pretty inexpensive too. Spanish is spoken and cash only. It's easy to miss because it's in the parking lot behind tall fences that say farmers market right on the corner of Livernois and Toledo street.“

“I normally don’t write reviews, but after just spending money on a take out order that they didn’t include the chips I ordered then said that I didn’t order them, which I did because I ordered a large mild salsa. Why would I do that? so the manager , Sam, told me I could come back to the restaurant, but he would have to charge me for the chips that they made a mistake on. And even worse was, I had to wait for them to make my tostada, and when I got it home, the cheese was not even melted. It was just placed on top of the beef with no tomato or lettuce and the cheese on the burritos was cold and like rubber. I Will not go back there. The food and service was terrible.“

“Hidden gem—almost impossible to see the name of this little restaurant, so it’s easy to miss! But what a fun surprise when you do find it. Great drinks—I tried the Hibiscus Margarita, my hubby had the classic. Very tasty! The food had great authentic flavor and was very reasonably priced for Birmingham. I had the shrimp taco and didn’t love how thick the soft shell was, but the flavor was delicious and the sauce with the shrimp was yummy. My hubby and daughter loved their dishes. He got a steak special and she got the Biria dish.
The coconut cake and churro cheese cake dessert were fabulous and worth the calories!
Service was great, friendly and helpful!

“After Opening Day at the Tigers game, I headed to Southwest Detroit to try a new taco truck. I came across El Parian #3 on Vernor and struck gold. I had the chicken burrito with all the ingredients. The tortilla was perfectly chewy and was filled with chicken, jalapeños, cheese, rice, and sour cream. It came with chips and two kinds of salsa. Delicisoso. I’ll definitely go back for more.“

I got the chorizo hash with scrambled eggs, and she got a breakfast sandwich. The wait wasn't too long, and you could see when you walked in that they were making everything fresh and to order, so you are definitely getting food right off the grill. I got the food and took it home. The hash was amazing and seasoned very well, the chorizo was tasty and the eggs were perfect but the potatoes were the best. She loved her breakfast sandwich. We will definitely be back. This is now on my list for good recommendations.“
